This is going to be so interesting. A Collingwood side without Cloke. I'm not sure if I should be happy or sad.

I don't think we will all know how we feel about it till close to 5pm on Saturday.

if you think no cloke in our line up is a good thing then i dont think you see the work he does. he may not get the goals on the board consistently , the work in terms of leading up and creating goals is so valueable. plus takes a decent defender.

dawes will feel the heat , jack needs to step up big time.

Well at least now we have no excuses for inacurate goal kicking.

I doubt Jack will stand up, Leigh Brown is more likely to.

Was always going to be suspended, just a matter of how many games. Plead guilty, take the 2 weeks and think about what an idiotic act it was.

Now comes the litmus test. How does Collingwood go against a top team without its most key forward playing?

StKilda performed creditably without Riewoldt, so if we are serious contenders we should be able to win without Cloke. I reckon we are short one KPB this week, unless we play Presti on Kos and Reid on Riewoldt. L Brown will be crucial to the structure of our spine this week, and his game will go a long way toward determining the result, whether he plays back or forward. Fraser has to get a game this week given the need for brown to be a KPP. Cloke should be sent on a meditation retreat somewhere in India for 2 weeks to refocus his approach to the game.

I have good thoughts about Cloke not being in the team.

1. Gives him a rest, his game has been up and down alot and more on the down side.
2. Gives Dawes a chance to be the only real Big forward
3. Our small forward will have more space
4. Changes the way we deliver the ball into the forward line, might assist us or at least allow us to try new things
5. Fraser will get his 200th game, he has been a OK player for us in the past and he does deserve a chance o show if he has the desire and the hunger to be part of our finals campaign

It took the saints a couple weeks to get it right though, don't forget how average they looked for a few weeks though - it took them time to adapt, granted Roo is a much better player though, but they will be a better side for it.
We will struggle without Cloke in the team, not that he has been performing as well as he was earlier in the season, hopefully some players can step up and we can cover for him.
