Still think we should sound out Jarrad Schofield for the Magpies role. He's had a great few years as head coach of Subiaco in the WAFL.

Get him on a two year contact with a guaranteed AFL assistants position after that if he's done a good job. Which is basically what Buddha got in the end.

I always rated him highly. As most Port supporters, I am pretty sure.

He did not say that. He said he did not know he was leaving which of course he didn't until Carr got offered another job.

He said that he only found out carr was leaving on thursday. Not necessarily if he was interviewing for other jobs. We would have known. Not as if we will talk about pinching other coaches while the season is still alive for some finalists.

That said, here is hoping for bass.

He's got a pretty polarising approach amongst the players - but it seems to work and it is undeniable that they put in for him.

Definitely an idea worth considering.

For me - two reasons:
1) a massive difference in expected $ - I'd think Steve wouldn't be pricing himself out of many markets
2) has Schulz ever suggested a desire to coach or given the inclination he's a coach in waiting as Steve has

In the unlikely event of Summerton getting rookie listed I'd like for Logan to be Maggies captain for a few years.
