Not seeing it until Albury in Mid Nov but I am excited about it. Can't help but feel that it will be sort of like seeing the beatles after John died. Good but not quite the same.

They are delivering a killer setlist apparently.

Star Hotel live from Newcastle, great performance, hoped Jimmy could reach that higher register and he still goes alright. Bit different with Mr Amphlett behind the kit, miss you Steve.

Swa them last night at the Superdome in Sydney. Pretty solid show. Jimmy's voice takes about 2/3rds of the show to warm up before he starts singing properly, but Mossy faces no such hurdles. You Am I good beforehand, too.

Saw Chisel play thir last 'real' show (before Prestwich died) at Deni, they were awesome. Mossy was brilliant, never seen a bloke sweat so much on stage either. Shattered I won't be able to make it to this tour, but as they play in Canberra next weekend, and I'm mid exams, just did not happen.

I've heard that the more tea Jim drinks during the night better his voice gets. Different lubricant, similar results. He might do more vocal warm ups during soundchecks but I don't mind the screaming and screeching at the start - he's just getting his engine running. Mossy changes his vocal phrasing and uses alot of improv on guitar, never plays any version of Bow River identical because its live baby.

Saw the Townsville show, was amazing. Barnsey's voice still sounds pretty bloody good and the comment about Mossy sweating were spot on. Accentuated probably in North Queensland. Crowd age ranged from 14-50. Nice long set, played Flame Trees, Bow River and Khe Sanh all in a row which wreaked havoc on my throat. Was right up the front and ears were ringing for a couple of days afterwards, great experience.
