Coleman race over

Thanks to Collingwood's defenders allowing Buddy to kick another 3 goals in junk time of the last quarter. I was happy with 5 and then he added 3.1 with 5 minutes to go. Pissed me off no end.

Fev is now 10 goals behind with the strangling Crows defence and Rutten to contend with tomorrow.

Game, set and match ... goddammit!!

Let's hope Fev can kick a bag somewhere to set himself up and get to 100. That'd be worth it even if he missed out on the Coleman.

The Fat Lady's warming up the vocals, but it's not over just yet. Though is there any team that a key forward would look forward to more than Collingwood? Whilst lining up on Maxwell one out with no one else within 30m is will bring a smile to any key forward's face, seeing O'Brien walking up to you must be Fev's/Franklin's wet dream.

He kicked the last 3 while the Collingwood backline were soaping up.

The Port Adelaide 2nds at the Dome next week should reap a bag for Fev. Kangas the week after and then he still has Merret to come....its not over.:thumbsu:

Buddy has had a good day, meaning he'll kick 2.13 next week. Everything will be fine.

With his contract done, Fev will be back to usual - i.e. jumper punching people, sledging team mates, and getting reported.....oh yeah and kicking bags of 7.3 pretty much every 2nd week. Coleman race is still well and truly on.

I dont mind too much about the Coleman medal. He's been far more team orientated this year than in previous years, his tackles, his chases, his work ethic has probably been better than that of a few years ago from what I have seen on highlights.

I'd much rather the focus be on our club's move up the ladder instead of worrying about who will win a medal for kicking the most goals. Means very little in the scheme of things. Would be good if he won it again, but if not, no worries.

I'm looking forward to our Best and Fairest night, I think that means more because it's our club. Stuff the other clubs:thumbsu:

Totally unrelated but the Pies don't seem too happy with Chris Bryan. They want half their team delisted. Even the real mongrels on our Board have pulled it back to 5 or 6.

Well you get what you pay for. Anyone taking our ruck seconds obviously doesn't know a lot about football. If the bloke had any application at all we would've kept him.

l tend to agree even with 5 rounds to go, never mind a great effort by Fev.

he may still kick 100 if he has a purple patch, and wouldn't it be ironic that the only players to kick 100 at the Blues both wore No.25!!

As a personal achievement it would be fantastic for Fev to win the Coleman (and for those who like a bit of a flutter at the TAB)

He's 10 away from passing his PB (9 away from being level), so that's a positive and the fact that we're still in with a shot to play finals. I'd rather see Carlton play finals than win some money on Fev winning the Coleman.

As my mates at Indoor Cricket said last night, contract signed, 2.1m, he's likely to come out today and not even look like getting a touch.

If he's around 92-93 going into the Hawthorn game, he'll get the century. I think he needs to kick at least 3 or 4 today just to keep him going, a big haul looks very possible next week, he could in fact kick 10 next week with ease.

Not over yet. If buddy could kick straight he would already have 100 BUT he can't and fev is more than capable of kicking big bags in the last 5 games.

Okay so is not over ... just very very difficult. I was a little emotional about that last 5 minutes of ineptitude where the Pies threw in the towel. I was riding and celebrating every Franklin shank last night. :D

Would be a great time for Fev to get his best ever haul but the task is monumental against the repressive Crows.

Come on Fev, a new contract means you bust your gut to repay the club. 10 ... 10 ... 10 ... 10.

With Juddy back to his best, maybe Fev has a chance. Minimum of 5 required to stay in touch.

Aren't you just glad you don't barrack for the duds ? :thumbsu:

Fev was too quick for Rutten last time and we continually kicked the ball over his head or at his feet, Rutten cant go with Fev if we can give him space and great supply but its the flood back scenario or possibly Bock moving onto Fev which will hurt his chances more.
