Witts is a dude.
For a guy that is 211cm, he does not take enough marks.
Drops too many marks.
He is crap below his knees.
Get rid of him.

Thought he played a straight bat. Not giving anything away in regards to who we are after ; some teams have 3 or 4 or 5 Ruckman on there list.
I am sure we can keep Witts and get Kruzer as a F A. At the end of the day he costs us nothing.
Kruzer would be our only experience ruckman. If we get him.
That way we play Kruzer with who ever is more in form out of Grundy and Witts. Play one of them in the VFL with Cox.

Yeah for sure TD. They need the points. I got no doubt Hopper can come in and play a role for them. And then become a top mid in 3-4 years time.

We are still in the mix for Kreuzer, Bucks said so.

It's got a lot to do with the FA compensation as I've been saying. All clubs are waiting for the AFL to release the compensation equation to them, they still haven't.

He's just sticking to the party line, they almost never say anyone is up for trade unless they requested it until trade week has commenced.

So could he be enticed to another Melb club? Doggies & Richmond need a new ruckman soon for instance.

What's going on with all this talk about Grundy. Best young ruck playing at the moment and still only 21. Get over it. He ain't going anywhere and Witts will NEVER replace him.

The figure is correct. I am sure the Hawks offered less than that. Not sure about the number of years.

Remember reading how people were excited for Witts to debut, now everyone is happy for him to go...

I for one would be happy if Witts is traded as part of the deal that lands us Treloar. However, at the same time it is one of the ironies of football that people were upset that Scharenberg may have considered leaving but Witts wants to stay and we want him to go so it facilitates a better trade.

He doesn't cost us any draft picks but how do you expect to fit everyone within the salary cap?
