I can't wait to hopefully do this in 3 weeks. Let's call this a premature celebration, but I was again in awe of how good collingwood was around the ground tonight.

I wish we had've won by more and we could've really made them pay more on the scoreboard. Taking into consideration the wet weather and a first final, the intensity was always going to be there from both sides and any injuries/missing players shouldn't take away from the win.

Haven't seen a side dominate like we have this year in general play since either Cats 07 or Bombers 00 really. Before then I'd even say Hawks.

Utter domination in general play and just shows how set we are mentally to give everything.

Cloke/Dawes/Anvil destroying it too, just really good.

'Carn Pies!!:D:thumbsu::)

I am off my fu<ken head and still keeping a lid on it ... so should you.

... but you are right, utter domination...

Just a "ruthless" performance by our great club tonight, and the best thing was we didn't let up late and give the Dogs anything.

We destroyed the Dogs, like a top side does, and for the first time in a long time, we can truly now get excited.

What a win, everyone contributed in some way, we won every quarter, and we simply out performed the Dogs on the big stage.

No excuses, we were better.:thumbsu:

Good win, you are doing everything right, now is when it's gets interesting.

And who would have thought there was a possibility that Luke Ball and Collingwood would be facing off against his old team in the grand final. Just have to get over Geelong then that dream is a reality.

Will be interesting to see if we can make it happen.

Yeah, who would of thought, not even the most bullish Collingwood supporter would of predicted the kind of season you have witnessed.

I guess you could argue that we should of seen it coming, you were unlucky with injury early last year, and probably would of held a higher ladder position with a better start.

Likewise for us, still 4 quarters until a chance to make amends for last year, Sydney are dangerous I reckon.

Sydney will be interesting and I wouldn't be surprised to see them knock over the WBD. That said though I don't think they will be any match for you. It won't be a blow out, they won't allow it and I don't think your style of play will either, but they just don't have the midfield strength to match you.

This year adding Jolly + Ball have been huge. Was always a huge fan of adding the pair and they have really added a whole lot. As well as this we have had Wellingham, Thomas, Pendlebury, Macaffer, L.Brown and Sidebottom amongst others really lift their game to another level. Which has been big!

Last year to be honest I thought it was a 3 horse race with Collingwood not in it, and the WBD who were in it, but always were slightly behind St.K + Geelong.

This season I had St. Kilda as premiers even with the belief that Ball would be a huge loss and that it was a mistake recruiting Lovett (which in the end turned out to be worse than anyone could have ever imagined). I had Collingwood on pace, but though we were still always thought we were another year and that 2011 would be the start of our premiership window (even with the additions of Ball + Jolly).

Will be very interesting two weeks from now who will be facing off in the grand final. Looking forward to it as much as anyone.
