every week, after a loss, dimma seems to give his thoughts on our opposition. seems to know what their strengths are.

they're a good side....they'll go a long way.

perhaps with some of that insight he'd be better in the media as an analyst

Dimma's dissection with Harf and Marko coming to a radio near you.

I am suggesting that the coach is useless. If he realises this he should go. If his message is not getting across and you may disagree with me he could do the honourable thing. You say he has a contract, well thats right and if you were in business which you clearly are not you would replace a poor culture with a better one. so we pay him out. If it was me there would be a clause in his contract perfomance based. I dont give a shot about his family becuase he has probably set them up, he is an accountant. He probably has got 3 million from the club over the years. I want my clubs culture to change. You seem to think about other things, why be on an internet forum if you cant understand my words?
Loyalty and honour isn't sport any more wake up dude. What party is saying is his not stupid enough to walk out cause of the $ and he would be silly to.

If the players had any sense they would not turn up next Friday night. .every richmond supporter at the game should have there own SACK DIMMA Sign and hold them up after every goal colingwood kick

Have heard dan Richardson is recruiting big in the northern Territory , is offering some nice colourbond sheets , in the hope this lovely housing upgrade will get them over.

No point making a thread for this but for the point of the exercise I'm calling it "The Ricky Petterd gauge" thread.
I know... Stay with me though.
Only 18 months ago this bloke was the most maligned bloke on here.
I loved what he brought every week but his detractors were right in that he was limited and as the cliche goes "not part of our next premiership team".
But I find him a great gauge for our current predicament.
Oh for the days when a Petterd was a genuine 16-24 on the list player who we could bicker over because the fact is he would be a walk up start and nearly top ten player today and something is not right there in that timeframe.
My question is - is that because we have a number of young players playing or because so many blokes have gone backwards so quickly.
Using him as a template I swear he would have gone from fringe to one of the certainties selected just by maintaining his usual standard.
Loved the bloke but that's an indictment.

We are a strong and resilient group and it's all about next year now..

Who thinks this shit

#eco
But I bought a membership for this year dimma, what about this year? :drunk:

Have any members who have monthly rollover payments rang the club to cancel for next year? .would be good to send a message to the club by letting them know how unhappy we are. Best way is to stop being a member .

The most difficult part of the season for me is that so few on our list that have improved, and so many have gone backwards.

I'd argue that over the last couple of years we saw steady improvement across the park, but this year has been a ****ing disaster and the coach is ultimately responsible.

And I don't buy the kids and Yarran are going to save us; Rioli, Menadue, etc. some will make it but some won't. And of those that do, how many will be elite? We're not going to win a flag with this group and anyone that tells you differently is selling you bullshit.

Im starting to think that Dunstall was right when he said we need to put everything on the table. Trade a couple of sacred cows for picks and start all over again.

I always liked Ricky.

OK so this is the vent thread? Well enough venting on our putrid gameplan.

**** the AFL.

We don't need 18 teams. We don't need to pander to kebab-eating bogans from Western Sydney like they are some sort of treasure trove of riches to be plundered. Yes we all (mostly) want the AFL to be a success across the country, but with 18 teams, it's just ****ing boring. With a 1/18 chance of winning the flag in any given season, the sheer mathematics of it makes it bad enough, but then we have the absolutely ****ed concessions to the expansion teams solely because they are worried that the kebab-eating bogans might cry if their team is shit. I mean, what the hell is Greater Western Sydney anyway? Is it a noun or an adjective? The truth is Sydney were shit for years after the move north and everyone just dealt with it. Likewise Brisbane and Freo.

What those poindexters at AFL house should have done is encouraged one of the straggler teams to move to the Gold coast. Keep it at 16 teams. The Gold Coast is full of ex-pat Victorians anyway, so at least it would have support and you solve the eternal problem of too many clubs in Victoria. Once you establish Gold Coast, and already have a team in Sydney then you're really got RL surrounded anyhow. In any case, RL don't even GAF about at least half of the country anyhow. Do these **** smokers at the AFL realise that it's not the 90s anymore and the AFL has not been under threat from RL since the days of Tina Turner?

Having 18 clubs leaves a **** up waiting to happen because when one of the stragglers inevitably goes under we get lumped with a bye and those supporters are left with no team to support.

Then of course we have the ****ed situation where the draw is so pathetically manufactured to favour a certain clique of 'favoured' clubs, but also is not consecutive so you get the ****ed experience of playing the same team twice in 6 weeks and might not play the other at all until round 21. This makes the ladder lopsided and also makes me personally lose interest in who we are playing next.

So those are things that I hate generally about the AFL. They are absolutely ****ing useless. They are systematically cheating to make their limp-wristed plastic clubs over-competitive for the sake of some ****ing aspirational bogans and expect us to just take it up the ass for the good of the game.

Personally I would get more satisfaction out of sacking the upper management of the AFL than anyone at the RFC.
