Am i ridiculously bias now. Another way of looking at it is to look at how porous southampton have been defensively this year without him. I'm sure Spurs fans think Dier is one of the best in the league, Gooners with Coq, Jod with Can, Henderson, Sakho, Moreno, Clyne, Benteke, Rossiter, Ibe, Firmino, Coutinho and Lucas. Doesn't mean you aren't being the same mate.

If we're talking about just this season then Kante over Schneiderlin makes perfect sense, he has been one of the best midfielers in the league this season.

Leicester are top of the league because they have a lot of players playing really well, not just Vardy and Mahrez.

Now you are talking shit mate. I said that Everton tried to play the ball from defense to attack and Morgs killed them. Nobody passes near him for that reason. The better DM's and Defenders don't need to make a heap of tackles or interceptions every game. I've hardly ever seen Carrick or Scholes make a tackle when playing a deep lying role. I guess we'll see this weekend.

So far this season, Fernandinho is the only DM who has impressed me more than Morgs, he has a fair bit more to do too.

Smalling in a word. Far better than Evans and has improved out of sight.

De Gea has also improved as well and has made several vital saves which helps.

Yes i did but you are making it out as if one performance is the reason for my argument which it is not. On your second point, you are the one saying that, not me. I'm saying that Morgs is positionally excellent so he doesn't need to make a shedload of tackles. Happy to agree to disagree on this one mate as it appears we are no closer to a mutual agreement.

Yes Smaldini has been excellent, as has Dave despite being in the same defense as Valencia and Ashley Young. Morgs is a big part of that and one of the reasons United have been so good at the back.

For me the big difference in Uniteds defence is the style of play and the sacrificing of forward, attacking play for a bit of defensive solidity.

Remember back at the start of the season, the United back 3/4 was a pisser. LVG has just tightened things up, and defenders look better for it.
