If there was ever any further evidence needed that the governing body of this game is a complete farce. How can their own people get this wrong?

Yeah, nah.

This is what happens when Take Your Kid to Work Day gets out of hand.

Lloydy coached him as a junior and said he's the best kid he's ever seen

Well, he would need to play a starring role in premierships to even be having that conversation.

Bit BS of him to say Collingwood should have got a free for it. I wonder who he might suppor- oh.

If Hawthorn knew the actual interchange count they would have simply done one less interchange over the course of the rest of the game. Whether that would have had an effect is anyone's guess.

Doesn't detract from the fact it's ridiculous the AFL miscounted. Administration of the game has never been better!
I’d like to draw your attention to North vs Sydney 2024.

Fair thing to do in this scenario is obvious from the AFL;

. Collingwood are awarded the 4 points
. The advantage rule in our game paid retrospectively and GC are given 2 points and our 2 points are given to Collingwood
. Nick Daicos and Matt Rowell are both given 6 brownlow votes instead of 3
. If we beat Freo over there those 4 points are then given to Sydney, because we cheated selling a game to W.A. and the Swans had to play at Pork Barrel stadium ( and get Sam Harris as a p.p. )
. Bailey Smith & Issac Heeny each get 6 votes from our win over Freo

Buckley, Harvey, Pav... there's 3 gun mids who never played in a flag.

Lets be honest, being the best player ever at St Kilda or Fremantle isn't really the biggest hill to climb and Buckley was a great player but nobody is alive that remembers the greats of Collingwood in the era they won most of their premierships.

Most of us were around for the 90s and there is still plenty of us that remember the 70s. I hope he does become one of our greats, he has the tools to do so, but atm he wouldn't be even the orange boy of our 70s era team let alone best of all time.

If you are going to be that good, then you are either stuck in a team full of potatoes or you will win flags. I mean look at the teams Collingwood won flags with in recent times, there are a lot of bog average players in that lot and it is a testament to good systems, you do not need greatest players of all time to win a flag so how do teams which have these kinds of players not get the job done?

A free kick is a free kick only when the umpire sees it. There was some issue with the recording interchanges, but the AFL umpiring officials didn't see it so it is what it is, human error. It is hilarious sour grapes to be bring this up now. Okay, they made a mistake, a lot of mistakes happen over the course of a game. We got screwed by a goal review in a close game, are we still bitching about it several rounds after? No. Just move on.

with names like blight, Schimmer , Greig, Carey, Mckernan , Breidis.... all be it none of them were midfilders.

regardless its to date his most consistant season to date,

loving it

He has been great and i hope he gets better. It was just a silly comment by Lloyd.

About the 27.45 minute mark of Footy & Friends pod, Micky Barlow gives a bit of insight into the game. It goes for about ten minutes.
Found the chat about the final minutes interesting too. LDU goals & they had to actually discuss in the coaches box ‘do we go for a win or hold for the draw?’

A good listen, cheers!

Its stupid.

In McGuire's video Moore is moving when the interchange happens. To me it looks like he's taken at least one step and is in motion.

On the replay Moore starts moving as the siren sounds so it seems Xander's whinging about an interchange that happens on or immediately after the siren and thinking that technicality should be employed to give a win to the side his dad was president of.

LOL.

He was pretty quiet about the replay showing a touched goal the ARC ignored and the unpaid 50 to Bailey Scott a couple of years ago.

Where do you rate Gary Ablett Snr and Tony Lockett out of interest?

But geez, he put on a few kilos since then Ferbs. I reckon he’s overtaken the old man.
I didn't know that bathwater had such a high calorie content.

In all fairness, Eddie's still got at least a couple of chins on him.
