General B Scott will hold the #1 spot by round ten. I cannot see them winning a game in 2026
You'd have to be feeling a bit for old Benny Mac then. Imagine how annoyed and disappointed he'd be going into the bext season with nary a glimmer of hope - and to be holding up a backline that's likely to crumble around him, to be the last man standing in a capitulation week after week, possibly even the occasional annihilation, dashing the hops and dreams of the supporters and leaving them, like their club to be nothing more than hollowed out carcasses, laid out to dry like festering blowflys around a cesspit by the airport.

…and still beat us in 2026…

We have been playing far too conservatively.

Some stats that I think point to the gameplan issues.

We are the only team that scores more from stoppages than turnovers. You can't rely on dominating stoppages to win games.
We are second highest for disposal efficiency - that isn't good, it just means we neatly stuff around with the footy. How high would our efficiency need to be for Clarko's gameplan to actually work?
We turn the ball over the third least but lose most weeks because of scores from turnover. Despite our low numbers, we have the worst turnover differential. We fiddle around trying to retain possession rather than gaining and defending territory. This also makes us a chore to watch.

Anyway, I hope that is all behind us. Next season our forward line looks potentially dynamic, we have a dominant ruckman and exciting young mids. There shouldn't be any more excuses or reason to play such defensive footy again.
Sure. But all he's got a his disposal are first possession clearance mids apart from Colby and FOS.
Wardlaw and LDU are a little bit more dynamic and pressure around the ball, but hardly strong transition runners.
I don't think he's got players that can run hard and kick all that well. Slowly being addressed.
I don't think he's had pressure players to lock the ball in apart from PC and JK to lock the ball in. Added Banch and Dove.
I think a fair criticism is how high the press was up the ground, so whether he adjusts that we shall see.
Be interesting to see how they adjust defensively because our F50 pressure should be better with Dove/JK/PC/Banch.
Unfortunately, we had to fix the spine and get more transition run and ball use in the door at the same time.
So I've got a bit of sympathy for Clarko and the coaches, but this year there is less excuses with some key forward targets and hopefully more defensive options with guys like Dawson, Goater and Archer playing more often.
Only big issues list wise I think are key forward depth to replace Darling and adding more transition run across all lines.
Having said all that, if he's not winning 8-12 games with our draw, then I think he's under pressure.

I don’t actually know myself, but what was the context? Were they asking for bold predictions or perhaps certainties or what?
Lol. No idea, I'm just shitcanning him because I can - I have no interest in listening to SEN to get more context.

I think the only way Clarkson is under real pressure next year is if we go backwards.

At the end of the year he'll have one year left on his contract. Unless things have gone very wrong I can't see him being sacked at that point.

I watched it last night & couldn’t get all the way through the segment. He ****en loves the sound of his own voice. Between him & Cooney, it was just painful.

TV, Radio or whatever… all the C graders are on at this time of year.

And for context, Cooney said something along the lines of “Under radar flyers that are about to hit the sonar. Give me five players who are going to ‘pop’ next season. Somebody who’s played 30-50 games & will break out.”

Also worth noting that one of Cooney’s five players was Zane & this was Jenkins reaction…

I'm not really buying that. We could have brought in different senior players, suited to a different game style, or backed in our kids to take more prominent roles. Instead we brought in Daniel and Parker; that could only be with the intention to play slow possession football. We even pushed our best 2-way runner out of the midfield to do it. And Clarko wanted Daniel for a reason, we didn't sign him for three years with the intention of switching to a different style after one season. Hopefully he realises he was leading us down a dead end.

If something is flying under the radar and hits the sonar it has literally crashed into the ocean hasn't it?

My favourite part was "I didn't know how to kick a footy 2 years ago".
Love Finbar and he improved, but I can't see him making it ahead of some others on the Crows list.
But I wish him well and may a Tom Campbell like career await him.
He's very lenient on himself. He still doesn't know how to kick a footy

Geewhiz SOS looked like a shell of a man… Perhaps he should have been a better father.
I double down on this statement. SOS is a scumbag.

Stephen Silvagni refused to enter the courtroom until AFTER the victim's impact statement had been read.

The statement he made yesterday was pre written and just missed the mark. SOS the answer was to not say anything. You can believe your son, thats fine. However, he r*ped that girl and your money isn’t going to work here. Your son is going to have bubba spooning him.

I call bullshit.
Media is in the business of monetising viewership through subscriptions and advertising. The more views and clicks, the more they make.

North is small and don’t rate and attract viewers and subscribers.

The better we do, the more we take away from bigger clubs and the less they sell.

Therefore, it is in their business interests to belittle us as a club and impede and undermine our chance of success.

It’s all about $$$$$! The latest broadcast deal is worth $4.5 billion! They gotta protect their investment. No ****en around here.
Cost cutting at FOXTEL.....Start with Dermie and im in.
