MOTHER ****ER!!!!!!!! IVE HAD ENOUGH OF THIS SHIT. 0-7 IS NOT A PLACE IM USED TO BEING. THIS SEASON SUCKS ****ING ARSE. I SWEAR THAT MELBOURNE SUPPORTERS ARE PUT ON THIS EARTH TO BECOME RESILIENT TO ****ING BULLSHIT LIKE THIS. I HAVENT BEEN THAT PISSED OFF AFTER A MATCH FOR A LONG TIME, I WAS VERY CLOSE TO PUNCHING A WINDOW OUT. AS A SIDENOTE, WHAT THE **** WERE THE UMPIRES WATCHING? i MEAN FAIR DINKUM, SOME CLEAR AS ****ING DAY FREE KICKS JUST TURNED A BLIND EYE TO THAT COULD'VE HELPED US OUT MIGHTILY. ALSO, DAVID NEITZ, WHEN THE BALL IS KICKED INTO THE FORWARD LINE. WATCH THAT SON OF A BITCH, DONT TURN YOUR ****ING BACK ON THE BALL. FIRST LESSON AT FOOTBALL SCHOOL. ************************************************************

STAY STRONG DEMON FANS, LIFE'S A BITCH. FOOTBALL IS JUST THERE TO TEACH US HOW TO DEAL WITH IT.
I have reported your post.

But really I'm impressed you are still this passionate after a loss by now, I was just happy that they have really had a go in the last few weeks.

I'm crushed, well and truly.

The season is over yet it feels like it has only just began, 0-7, equal with Richmond FFS.

And no more of this "lets be happy about the positives", that is an admission that your team is shit, I'm not happy if we don't get the 4 points. Its time to get our bloody act together and start winning, the ****ing culture is the problem.

Someone tell Brock McLean to hurry the **** up.

But our team is shit.

I am looking at the team getting some structure and building a solid base for next year. you could say its the forest from the trees. 2007 ended a couple of weeks ago.

I'm always passionate. Probably too much so. Stoked at the effort of the last two weeks. I really am. Just disappointed that it ended the way it did. Not for lack of effort, just for the fact that we lost in one that was so close. If we were 0-21 by the last week of the year, I'd be equally as shattered if not for the fact that we'd have not won a game all year, but because we lost.

You related to a player?
Just like to say Col was a shining light for us, and Matthew Kreuzer come on down to the MFC at the end of the year.
Former player. I know a couple of current players too.

Kreuzer is EXACTLY what Melbourne needs but I see you guys climbing up to about 11th or 12th and missing out on him. You have a good list (ravaged by injuries) so you don't need someone to step in and play from Round 1 2008. Obviously being a tall, Kreuzer will take a bit longer, but with White closer to the end than the start a mobile tall (sublime at ground level too) would be a good drafting option IMO. Probably a story for a different thread (in fact, there's probably a different thread on it but shmeh) but what type of player do you think you need to target?

Sometimes when your confidence is down, those matches don't go your way. But the effort we put in was great and we have showed the football community that we don't deserve to be 0-7.

Our finals ambition ended a few weeks ago, obviously it would have been good to win but at the end of the season, this result won't matter at all. All we can ask for is some effort from the boys and some performance from the youngsters who will help launch us back up the ladder in 2008.

I was so mad when we lost yesterday, because we didn't deserve to and it was heart breaking under those circumstances, but when I think about the fact that our future team will be built on the likes of McLean, Sylvia, Rivers, Davey, Bate, Jones, Dunn, etc... I get excited.

Was any one close to tears after the game?

I'm a 25 year old bloke and wasn't far off a sniffle. It was one loss too many yesterday and it hurt like hell.

Losses don't hurt so much when your team hasn't put in the effort and were never in the contest (ie - Geelong and Freo games). But when 22 of your blokes bust their ass off all day, all desperate for a well deserved win...well you can't help but feel for them.

Credit to us for our effort, but we can't celebrate a loss can we??

PS - Davey, TJ and Sylvia were fantastic yesterday.

I hope we stay 15th, I would love the guys to win but this year is over, lets get the draft picks when we can.... please be another brock in this draft :thumbsu:

Pick anywhere in the top 5 and it doesn't really matter, you're most likely going to get a good player for the future. Last thing I want is to think about draft picks though, got more pride than that.

Its sickening we are talking about draft picks in Round 8, but what else is there to do?

Brown, Holland and Ward are still running about out there, it shouldnt be happening, give me CJ, Petterd, Frawley, Newton and Neville (what has happened to him?) please.

Win some games hopefully, maybe enough to play finals.

I just looked at our draw and creeping into the finals is not impossible, I'm not calling for the kids any more, the best 22 approach has to be the way to go, Newton and Frawley should be made to really earn the debuts as Petterd did (he should be back in this week). CJ has really disappointed me this season, his NAB cup form was sensational and he looked ready to crack it, I think he definitely is not a last line defender such as Bell, Whelan and Warnock but seems to be the type of player who can really add polish to the team, when (if) we hit our straps he might be more useful but Brown and Ward have him covered at the moment.
