I think they got it right.

Hearing reports that Port were going to get an end of first round for Pearce/Chaplin or Melbourne a second round for Moloney was a stretch for mine.

All of them are spot- however, Clinton Young may have been worth slightly better than a 3rd round. I think what happened here is they thought Murphy was worth very little and thus averaged it out between Murphy and Young- thus they concluded a 3rd round.

And clearly Freo and Richmond are paying handsomely for the Port players
