Can we get a full list of what would be required? Personally, I think that if it were to be more traditional olympic sports like track, gymnastics, swimming, equestrian, cycling etc. you'd have most people spending time on templates rather than creating a consistent brand (nation) across many different sports designs working with each individual aesthetics. Perhaps that's what people want, but I feel as though it gives even more of a leg up to those using Yellow images templates over those that like to craft templates themselves.

Yes, and thus removing the YI templates will even things up quite a bit.. Hmm. Things to consider.

That is a tough one though, assuming that it is a photoshop template, this puts me at an automatic disadvantage because I don't use it regularly to create my designs. It might be alright for me who is experienced in photoshop, but for someone using paint atm the process of getting hold of Ps and then learning to use it puts them at an even greater disadvantage.

As ideal as that would be, we won't be finding 3 templates of each event.

I’d say you’d have it less as an Olympic athletics thing and more of just a sports carnival sort of deal - so you’d have the sports that people would primarily design for.

- Australian football
- Football
- Cricket
- Basketball
- Rugby

And then you get into sports like
- Ice hockey
- American football
- Track & field

Etc etc. End of the day you want to select sports that a large number of people on this board will want to design for, and not just have everyone spending their time developing templates.

That's pretty much what I intended the competition to be originally. The use of the Olympics moniker was just convenient.

I've documented the plan for our bid and have already shown the bidding documents to a fellow board member Fizzler during a meeting at Ulimaroa Parliament House in Elizabeth this afternoon. Also just wondering, will the Olympics be held every year? I would be keen for that to happen
