With the whole "knocked out and stay off the ground/week's rest" line of thought, what would have happened in the case of last year's prelim when Riewoldt had that bizarre episode after the marking contest (did he land on the back of his neck?)
Would he have been forced to stay off? He certainly came back with a huge effort after that.
As for Lewis, he came back on the ground but we were still over run by the dogs. We were in it until pretty deep in the game - I wonder what would have happened had Lewis been forced to stay off? Would the dogs have put the game to bed earlier? Having said that the guy wasn't right for a good 4 weeks after the crunch.
