Rivers very impressive outstanding game.
thompson also had a good game.
Should be a great game next week against port then will see were we stand.

i was there and i thought that rivers played like a man with experience

funny to say that bout a guy in his 6th game

davey was hot although his goalkicking was not though bout half of the attempts were snaps around the body.

rivers and bizzel were very impressive.

i thought rivers taking on ottens/stafford last friday was good well this was even better.

man whites hitouts were awesome

perfect and im sure the centre break stats will reflect that.

bruce and T.J were awesome thought eh kicking let them down occasionally.

umpiring review : pretty reasonable. couple of dodgey decisions but ya know they are only human



i just hoep that melbourne supports can get down to the game against port coz besides the cheer squad area it was a pro-doggies crowd. i know celebrating there one and only (lol hahaha) premiership brought a few more doggies threw the gates but seriously stop stuffin ya mouths with easter eggs and come on down

hopefully against port the power will be swamped in a sea of red and blue and we will give it our best shot. we sure did last year against them twice

injuries for both teams with port loosing primus for the year, wilson and dew while we will be without vardy and jolly

Well done to your supporters today, I thought they made plenty of noise and really suppported the 54-04 event.

Two weeks ago I watched Melbourne lose badly to Hawthorn - footy's a funny game. Stick with it, you'll win one soon.

I did, though, think it was majorly rude to play the current day Bulldogs song when the premiership team were on the ground. Would it have been so hard to drag the real Footscray song out of the archives and play it for them?

And, while you're in here there's something I've always wondered. What do the fans think of the club name? Is it accepted now or are there people who want to change back? I wonder the same about North.

Average game, we got little reward for our efforts but both defences did some good work & that affected the scoreline.

I thought the ceremony before the game went off well, Charlie Sutton's a gun! Where was the guernsey though?

Missed most of the motorcade, my 29 year old eyes failed me with the Guernsey though.

I was happy that Brian Dixon gave the jumper to him, although I was a little concerned that he wasn't going to let it go on TFS. The bulldogs generally play pretty well against us, and yes Cooney is going to be a good player.
