I might be overboard with the comment about having f*ck all player winning contested balls, but Haselby is easily one of the midfield players we desperately need but haven't got.

I don't know where you got that stat. Freo are 6th in the league for uncontested possessions. We're 12th in the league for contested possessions, according to pro-stats.

We're also dead last in the league for 1%ers, 2nd in the league for errors and middle of the row for pretty much everything else.

Exactly , Should be taken in context.

Belnakor should have qualified the sledge by adding that:

Freo are ranked 3rd for least opponent 1% ers per game

Freo are ranked 4th for least opponent CP's per game

Freo are ranked 5th in team to opponent disposals per game.

The upshot of all that is that as we have the ball more there is less need for 1% ers.
