Continued Media Negativity

Got a bit "p*****" off with the continued media negativity re CC and senior players issues. My informed sources inside advised that there are no such issues and it is again a pile of negative rubbish.
Peter Bell came out and confirmed that there were no senior players/CC issues and I wish the media would focus on some positive club issues.

We are fortunate to have CC at the club. He is one of the best in the business, built a great squad with depth and 2006 will be the year to prove all the knockers wrong.

Freo will be top a 4 finish with great finals run.

It's a planned tactic to distract us before the start of the season! They had nothing negative to say so they just made something up, this is also to help the Wet Toast out by relieving a bit of pressure by pointing the finger down the road!

I wouldn't worry too much about it, the team is too focused to let it affect them now!

Totally out of control up there, it does not surprise me the media is pointing fingers in every direction other than their beloved eagles.

Whoah.! It is going to get very confusing if the Weavils are all Saints for Round 1. Hope the Saints have something equally tricky up their sleaves. May just make the game worth watching. It may be one of the great comedy games in the history of the game.

Don't label the whole club "dirty" because of the actions of a few players. I could do the same for Fremantle, but I have enough respect for the other players who are law abiding citizens.

The only way to shut them up is to consistently win footy games. It doesn't matter how well we do off the field or how much we turn around the clubs financial woes. When it comes down to it, it's all about the footy and silver cups and the rest will take care of itself.

We can all think of teams we don't like and I'd bet most of them have been successful. You don't have to admire the victor, but you do begrudgingly have to respect teams who consistently buck the odds and win big pressure games. it's all about respect and we're still trying to develop that.

Success is culture that must live and breathe within the walls of our club.

I think Freo's disgraceful efforts in the final quarter v Geelong in the NAB Cup and against the Hawks have only confirmed what the media has reported, despite the doubters.
The players don't want to play for Connolly.

My informed sources are saying we got belted on the field, and now will cop it in the media. fair enough. The question is about how they respond. Hopefully it will be a good game this week. I would give up watching footy if it was like vs Hawthorn.

I'm wondering if we will see anything but flooding for the large part of this season. Given it's effectiveness againts us on Sunday you'd expect every other coach has noticed that the how-to-beat-freo playbook from 2005 is still relevant for 2006.

Wood would go alright, but what I love most is how snappy you fella's get as soon as we lose 1 game and the whole general mood is down, how about be good supporters and have constructive critisim

That's why Wasley only played about 1 game for WA. At the time he played, players were seated on the plane alphabetically and he ended up next to Woody. Thereafter the other players would not talk to the poor bugger.
