If we could convince Steele to come that is also a good option.

Saints don’t have a lot of young talent , so they are not going to be giving away any in a trade, but I think we should def be enquiring about Dodson, fills a major need in getting in development ruck who can actually ruruck

For sure, there's ruck and midfield etc, but no-one is really standing out as that electric forward to replace Ryan. Champion maybe Newton in the running? Brockman and Dewar don't seem to have the experience or nous for it yet. Cripps is close to the exit door. Owies can help me cut oranges at half time.

Theyre mostly all in their first or 2nd seasons in 2026.

Imagine writing them off already?

Still have Hewett and Harley to spend time forward in 2026 more too.

Of all things to be worried about, our small forward depth is NOT it.

We have Cripps as our best and people are complaining about him. He’s got one more year at best as well. Apart from that Ryan is less than the player he was and although we do have a lot of small forwards they are potential and that is all. A couple of the NGA players also have potential but that depends on the draft outcome

Only way to realise that potential is to give them some opportunity.

With Newton, Long and potentially 3 NGA small forwards over 2024/2025, plus McGlade next year, I think we are fine for now.
