getting a kick would be a good startWish Murphy Reid all the best, but I actually think Bo Allen is more the type of player we need anyhow. Athletic with a spring in his step and wants to go forward. He’s like the antithesis of Simpsons gameplan

If you read my previous posts about doing a Ryan trade with the saints, I agree with you.Mate, get a grip, Wilson's worth is miles greater than Ryan's.
We'll do a deal if it's in our best interests, but the bar for that is a lot lower than Wilson
If he doesn;'t want to be here he can F*** off

Interesting to read elsewhere that Allen was talking to Bne in September last years. Captain, I think not. Loyal, loves the club - give us a break.Yesterday's take on Oscar leaving by Schofield and the dubious 6PR crew, fwiw...

Will Schofield on Oscar Allen: This is a bigger story than their season - 6PR Football
With the news of Oscar Allen's likely departure the 6PR call team of Will Schofield, Dave Mundy, Karl Langdon and Adam Papalia chat what it means for the Eagles.omny.fm
Wilson is off the table as an option though. I haven't gone over to the Saints board, but imagine after the weekends effort the fans would burn the club down if the considered trading himIf you read my previous posts about doing a Ryan trade with the saints, I agree with you.
The point is, Ryan is contracted and if they want him on a four yr deal they're going to have to give up a player for him. We don't need picks
Now if that means the player is worth more than Ryan then we give up some extra.
Ryan and Hawks 2nd for Wilson.

Yes the quality of WA under U18 is aligned to WC. WA academy player development is missing.Yeah, those 3x father/sons looked great just night. And they’ll have Annable coming in this year’s draft as well.
West Coast and Fremantle really should press the AFL to develop Western Academies of their own (with a broader reach than the NGAs).
Need to address the deterioration in the number of quality prospects coming through from WA in the draft and get more kids playing footy.
Give yourself a break...I don't care, no sour grapes from me, I'm happy with pick #2, and moving on.Interesting to read elsewhere that Allen was talking to Bne in September last years. Captain, I think not. Loyal, loves the club - give us a break.
Title of Goroyals22 book ?Hate everyone. Words to live by.
We should split regional WA (non-perth Metro) with Freo and have as academy's at a minimum. SA could do the same.Yeah, those 3x father/sons looked great just night. And they’ll have Annable coming in this year’s draft as well.

Which is ridiculous and exactly why I wish them no more success after picking up AllenBrisbane have more young talent on their list than we do .

It would be negligence not to talk to other clubs. How else do you get a sense of your worth? Have no issues with Allan's manager doing that, he got an offer, and took it back to West Coast, who said, thanks but no thanks. That's how it's supposed to work.Interesting to read elsewhere that Allen was talking to Bne in September last years. Captain, I think not. Loyal, loves the club - give us a break.
I'm curious if there's a consensus as to what Oscar Allen would be worth on the open market? Say... Four or five clubs interested and presume he's open to moving to Brisbane or Melbourne for the sake or argument.
Mid-late first is probably what I'd say is objectively fair.
The back and forth on Ozzie....
This was done months ago, surely everyone has moved on from it? It literally is a win/win for all involved.
Sure, Oscar would have liked to stay in Perth since it's his hometown and he grew up supporting the Eagles, but the reality is that the offer from Brisbane is too good to pass up. He has an opportunity to look after himself and his family and anyone would do the same.
Anyone saying that he should be loyal to a club when he has a family to take care of is full of shit.
Pick 2 thank you and all the best.
Oscar is a bit like Willie leaving to go to Port where there was no way were going to match the 4 year offer. The back and forth on Ozzie....

Aren’t you putting lipstick on a pig with your scenario involving CDT?I think Duursma is shaping as that "pick him anyway" style clear pick 1 at the moment. If he goes we get multiple first rounders and start with 3 picks and not 1.
As much as people dislike the idea of CDT I think he has value in terms of unlocking Archer Reids move to defense . I think we need to find a next defender from within as nothing is around for us to grab so that could work as a plan
Can anyone do their magic
If you believe the Vic media, the milk and honey is being used to perform scaphism on young Victorian draftees. As Will Schofield says Perth is the land of milk and honey to an 18yo kid from Victoria.
Can anyone do their magic
He’s our guy for sure , happy to get him to Wce ..Duursma 24 touches, 2 goals and 7 tackles
