Seem to work for Paul Peos (and with Chris Lewis) as a player agent:

Gee those blokes could do with someone polishing up their bios. Some sloppy spelling and grammar in there.

Surely Fremantle would take Amiss with one of their picks? They have a crying need for key forwards. If their other pick was Johnson (my preferred), would we then take Erasmus? I think I would, the ‘go home’ factor is a big issue.
Would Fremantle consider Motlop this high in the draft?
If they miss amiss its Aaron Naughton all over again

Thanks for that. You know more than me. Ideally I would like Johnson, I was very impressed in the game against SA but sounds like he might be too hard to get. I wasn’t sure about Erasmus either.
West coast have been into Johnson for years .
This is sheed all over again .
Inevitable
The fact that he has been playing in higher grades and out of position just reeks of us dropping his value .
He is very keen on west coast too

He needs to indicate where and which team he wants to play for like Archie ‘homeboy’ Perkins. 😅

You may have said this half in jest but it’s worth thought. Highly rated Victorian metro kids are getting away with this every year. So it seems the AFL doesn’t have a problem with it. If Erasmus and Johnson want to go to a WA club they should be laying it on thick, they’re assured of getting drafted.

Guilty looks ....... me thinks.... both of them.

I’d love to see just one of the WA boys (or a SA lad) pull the same sort of shot the likes of Worpel, Smith and Perkins pulled just to see the reaction from Victorian clubs/media

Followed by an AFL knee jerk response to solve a problem they’d previously ignored but did nothing about because it benefited the cartel

Our best is 53 by Sheed and 52 by Yeo in that time period. Tho Yeo spent a year in defence. It's not the be all and end all for us with our forwardline but having a mid chipping in with at least 20 goals a season is what we need. Hopefully kelly gets a run at playing HFF/Mid next season

Even taking into our account out strong forward line we were still a long way down on midfield goals this year, compared to our flag year.

89 in 2018 from Yeo, Gaff, Redden, Lycett, Hutchings, Sheed, Masten, Vardy, Shuey and NicNat

42 in 2018 from Sheed, Kelly, Brander, Vardy, Gaff, Redden, NicNat, Yeo, Williams, XON, West (Ah Chee kicked 5 as well, bot not sure you'd consider him part of the midfield group)

All in all it's roughly 2 goals a game missing from our midfield group. Tough to make up.

EDIT - For historical comparison, to the shock of no one our 2006 midfield group hit the scoreboard heavily. 155 goals from Embley, Judd, Cousins, Cox, Kerr, Seaby, Stenglein, Jones, Selwood, Fletcher, Braun and Rosa. Not too mention 29 from Huntaaaaaaa. Embley was very much a hybrid wing/forward it must be said but I've excluded Chick for a bit of a balance who did spend some time in the midfield but was more of a pressure forward. Comparison is slightly tricky, as Woosha was a bit more fluid in his positional play in comparison to Simmo, and that was fairly typical of play 15 years ago with less rotations.

Yeah in a season like this with the lack of decent forwards it really hurt having key mids out at times too. Yeo as a pure mid hit the scoreboard constantly in 18/19 and he hardly rested forward. TK has the same ability to kick goals from the middle but was forced more into inside role this season but he also is one of the only mids that can play HFF. Having a fit midfield unit is more important than winning the midfield battler really.

As much as I love Yeo being an absolute bull in the middle, I would really love to see him being able to play more outside like 2018 and even rest forward like he did in the mid 2010's. As shite as Sheed was this year he significantly benefits from being the 3rd inside mid.

Shuey kicked 99 goals in his first 111 games during the period 2010-2015. After the 2015 GF, he has kicked only 38 goals in roughly the same number of games (110). Not sure how and why his role changed after the 2015 season. He could so easily have been an AA if he kicked another 8-10 goals in 2016.

Gold Coast heavily into him from the sounds

Really dont get that from Dunstan's veiw. He has questionable kicking and the Suns will continue to have access to the best mids in the draft for a while simply due to the players who will leave and get traded.

In a year or two Dunstan will be playing QAFL.

Kelly, Yeo, Shuey and Sheed would all be able to play HFF well but unfortunately that position is taken up by young midfielders who cannot under any circumstances play in the centre like WAFL centreman Connor West and the Beagles best mid Xavier O’Neill.

And this needs to be addressed by Simo.

Feel West and O'Neil need time in the guts and we push / rotate those you mentioned.

Get the grunt workers in close and the skilled / pacey users get fed the ball as 2nd receivers with a little more space. We use Yeo, West and O'Neil in close to feed a Shuey or Kelly who are very good at timing their runs and breaking free plus are excellent by foot.
