After lot of promise, I think if Adam doesn't improve significantly this year, he may run the risk of falling oof the wagon of Bulldogs midfielders. He can turn it on for a game and quarter here and there but his form is ordinary at best. Why is this being ignored by supporters? How long will the supporters accept his mediocrity?

Cooney is like Deledio can do some good things and can also not have a impact on the game, it comes with age Cooney will be allright.

ripped yas apart firest game 2006

I'm a fan of Cooney. When he's at his best its great to see. Consistency's not there but it'll come with age and experience.

And to Bay 13inize this post:
Daniel Wells: Its make or Break
After a lot of promise, people have fallen of Wells bandwagon. He can't turn it on for a game or 5 mins - here and there his form is nigh on pathetic. This is no longer being ignored by supporters, although some continue to be deluded. How long will these delusional supporters accept his unprecedented mediocrity for a player of his supposed talent?

Oh and and:

Walker >>>>>>>> Cooney >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Wells.

Cooney has been very disappointing. Last year he went backwards in his progress. Problem with Cooney is he doesn't go in hard. He is soft player and soft players always get found out in the big league.
He didn't get the nickname "footsteps" for nothing.

A bit OTT there stripes.

I was worried about Cooney in year 2 as I'm sure many Doggies fans would have been but he's coming on well now.

Hardly make or break.

If he wants to get traded he is very welcome to come home to the Adelaide Crows where he was always destined to be.

Cooney for Luke Jericho?:D

I'm the first to admit that I'm not a big Cooney fan, but it's not right to say that he had a disappointing 2006. For his latter part of the season was suffering OP, but he still managed to kick 5 goals and almost single handedly get us our win over the Crows, after being in doubt to play before the match. He's had an interrupted pre-season, getting over his OP, and he only played his first match for us last week against Essendon (which he played very well in). He's not in a make or break year, that's a joke.

Make or break = Richmond

Mediocrity = Richmond

haha If Tambling was half the player Cooney is, you would be creaming your pants.

The Coondog had a pretty good 2006 season considering he was restricted by osteitis pubis for the entire season, and has been on a modified programme this preseason because of it.

What is Deledio's excuse?

Bling'll be better than Looney. How good was his second season?

Cooney's second season was great, top 5 in the B and F, no idea why you would say you were worried about him in his 2nd year

And yes Im aware stats aren't everything but:

Deledios 2nd year = 395 touches and 5 goals in 21 games
Cooneys 2nd year = 434 touches and 21 goals in 22 games

Cooneys second year was more influential than Deledios. His 06 was maybe a slight backwards step, but he wasn't fit. Cooney played the year with OP and averaged basically 20 touches and kicked 30 goals. Hardly make or break, he's already a very good player. 30 goals from the midfield is a fantastic effort

Cooney is a bloody sook. The guy stubs his toe and he's on crutches for a week.

Had OP and still played every game. Since then Eade has said that there were games he shouldn't have played, but we played him anyway because we already were shorthanded because of injuries. What a sook
