Great news for the club given Corey has become vital to our midfield this year.
Hopefully Bartel signs soon rather than going through the whole 'will i or won't i?' scenario like he did last time.

Getting the players signed up is great but does anyone think we are backing ourselves into a corner with all the three year deals? I realise a lot of our important players are out of contract this year but we will be in trouble if we fill the cap up this year, and an important player, say Scarlett comes out and wants more money in the next 2 years. Not to mention injuries, poor form etc.

Surprised with 3 years. With his run of injuries & lets be honest only really starting to hit his stride I would have expected two.

He has been unlucky with injuries, rather than being prone like a Paul Lynch for example, and none of his injuries a long term - such as a back.

And 'only really starting to hit his stride'? I thought he was damn impressive in season 2003 when he was fifth in the B&F.
