We in Melbourne DEMAND the return of the lad Corrie. He was just marvelous v Bombers and is now an official cult figure. You had to be there to appreciate what an impact he had - absolutely poleaxed by 'clumsy' Fletcher and, within a minute had outmarked the new official AFL smartarse McPhee in the square to goal. You could not have written a better script. Season highlight so far.

Does anyone know if that was a relation that was in the best in all of NT's games in the Under 18 Championships? If so we should definitely have a good look at getting him on board as well, even in a rookie capacity.

Definately was!

The Bombers game was awesome, as OldLion alluded to, got smahsed by Gadget, drilled it, and rammed home the turn of momentum by soundly beating the new media darling and 'the next James Hird' McPhee in a tight marking contest. Got some ability the kid!

That game's still my pick for our best this season and for that reason.. I posted in a thread at the time my more immediate thoughts on the matter but i think Brisbanites feel the same way you do. It showed the kind of character this future champion of ours has. All guts, and pride in his guernsey. Watch the replay carefully and have a look at the expression on his face as he turns around from outmarking McPhee a minute after the cowards poleaxing attempt on him, sums it up better than I ever could.
Corrie, MacDonald, Pratt, Hadley, McGrath, Brennan etc etc.. Makes it very easy to have confidence in our future doesn't it.
