RIP Liberal Party if true.
You, Elroo, Gough, etc are so far to the left that you have no idea what right of centre is. Bernardi is not far right. Not even close. This is the far rightFMD, he's doing this to protect us from right-wing populist nutters?!?!?

You do realise that you can get further right than far right. You, Elroo, Gough, etc are so far to the left that you have no idea what right of centre is. Bernardi is not far right. Not even close. This is the far right

Bernardi supports the Q Society which is the Sinn Fein to Reclaim's IRA.You, Elroo, Gough, etc are so far to the left that you have no idea what right of centre is. Bernardi is not far right. Not even close. This is the far right

So?You do realise that you can get further right than far right.
Cory can be far-right and Australia First further right than that.
Yes. It isn't rocket science. But it simply untrue and a massive exaggeration from those who only get out of bed to be outraged at anything they have been told to be worried about.Cory can be far-right and Australia First further right than that.
It's not rocket surgery.
Bolt today barracking hard for Bernardi to split from the coalition.
Surely he realises this benefits the ALP more than anyone?
Best case scenario for me is for this to play out, a huge split in the right and then the inspiration brextrump to fizzle and be ridiculed soundly (if niot already happened)
Good on him should be more minor parties rather than welding to the Big 2. Yet there won't be the support he thinks there is. Might score a few traditionalists but unless he proposes something huge Trump style I can't see how more hard right policies and conservative social values (i.e. Further interfering in peoples lives) will get much traction.
Conservative values advocate less interference in peoples' lives, not more (or at least they are supposed to). Limited government, personal responsibility, free enterprise, etc:

And Bernardi is definitely centre right.
Values do. Political Parties don't.
I don't think so, Australian political history is replete with right-wing nutjobs falling over the edge and sinking into the irrelevancy of 1 (or zero) man "parties".
Even he hasn't joined himself yet. Could just be his usual trolling and nothing will come of it.I'm not really up to speed with things. Does this have any immediate effect and also, has anyone else from the LNP joined him?
I actually hope it succeeds as a genuine right wing party is required in Australia.
I wouldn't support it but it'd stand for something.
The Greens have a platform on the other side.
It can only hasten the desperately needed demise of the irrelevant Liberal and Labor parties. They'll either die or be forced to actually stand for something.
Good luck to him. railing against 'elites' then issuing your weekly "commonsense according to bernardi' blog might strike more than a few people as hypocritical
Pot meet kettle. You clearly have no idea of what left is if you think they are far left. Hint: Labor ain't left and the Greens aren't far left any more. You, Elroo, Gough, etc are so far to the left that you have no idea what right of centre is. Bernardi is not far right. Not even close.
