I was just thinking the same thing. I'm watching the game, been sitting there enjoying seeing the Gold Coast getting thumped lol, but it just crossed my mind, our record could be broken, especially if the Bombers get 10+ goals a quarter. Now i'm hoping the Gold Coast do something haha.

Remember, we get our chance to play the Gold Coast at Skilled stadium, hopefully then, we can break the record.

LOL at Ablett.

His dad played in the team which kicked the highest score ever. He will captain the team which has the highest score ever kicked against it.

Meanwhile, Geelong have a bye sitting happily on 5-0.

Worth the money?

Yeah hopefully.

But it would be a lot easier to do if played them at Etihad Stadium.

Yeh, no wind, perfect conditions. Just like 2007 when we rolled the Tigers by 157 points, scored 222 that game i believe.

LOL, Gazza made the mistake leaving the cats. He just wants to $$$, good on him. But being at the Gold Coast, he will go down in a lot of record books, not being good ones hahaha

Robert Walls on AW..."I want that record to disappear".

I'd suggest GC to put on the biggest flood seen since Noah's time!

Ahh, hate Robert Walls. C'mon Gold Coast, get EVERYONE in the backline.

Even if the Bombers do break our record, how long will it last seeing the Magpies still get to face the Gold Coast ??

The relentless bashings each week suggest a long, arduous road ahead, which has got to be a bitter pill for him to swallow given his competitive nature.

He's often quoted the challenge and satisfaction of building a new team from scratch as his motivation for leaving the Cats, but you've got to think that the scope and regularity of the thrashings they're receiving will quickly take the gloss off his 'exciting venture'.

It's nearly halftime and half of 239 is 199.5, right now the bombers are on 112 and have played there best, i think they'll slow down now, Gold Coast are playing better. Our record looks a little safer now :)

They didn't pass our 20 goals at 1/2 time against Richmond, and don't look like passing our 29.9 at 3/4 time in the same game either.

Looks like we might hang onto the record, and could hold onto the record score at Etihad too (35.12.222).

I wonder if we could use our gold coast games to practice our running game, doubt much defense will be needed.

Depending on players motivation levels, we could see us beat the highest score record at either KP or their sand patch this year.

I'd love for our percentage to be higher than the Pies too!
