Great to hear these two last night on tv talking about the way Ben Cousins trained, and the fact at times he could hardly walk to his car after training and that Kerr and Judd copied the way he trained.
Lets hope a few of our lads bar Foley, took notice if they saw the show. And put in the very hard yards to improve for next season.

Our fitness levels this year were clearly not up to scratch. We need to do a Nth Melbourne and start early.

Foley needs to show the way as Cousins did. Send him to Colombia for his pre season.

We cannot start early. The AFL has stated it will fine clubs that start pre-season too early. The Players association states that the players must be given 8 weeks (At least i thinks its 8 might be 6) off. This can mean that clubs give 6 weeks off after the season and 2 over christmas or 8 weeks straight up after the season.

They were a credit to the Eagles.

They handled themselves with confidence and leadership.

Our club has suffered over the years from a basic immaturity,leading to a rotting culture in desperate need of MEN as opposed to BOYS.

I think with lids and Foley etc,we are heading back that way,but while it was up to Bowden,Gaspar,Kellaway and the rest of the hacks,we merely existed.
