hi guys could any1 plz tell me what program to use to design the jumpers they all look good and would mind giving it a go in my spare time thanks

Paint is probably easier to start off with.

Then I suggest you use Gava's Photoshop template, it's awesome. Layers and everything. Check out the Universal Template Thread - it'd make all your guernseys look so much better.

This is modernisation of a design I made in 1981.
That year Just a Dash won the Melbourne Cup wearing these colours and I always thought they'd look good as a footy jumper, so I drew them.
And here they are on the modern template.

I think it's cos it's on the Nike template. According to Teamworks, it's an AFL club jumper though
