Crow28 your designs are brilliant. AFL clubs need a kick up the butt with some of the crap they are spewing out (Crows included). Like you said, keep it simple and traditional.

But, the AFL being the money making machine probably wants clash guernsey that are still predominately club colours. e.g. your Grey Essendon guernsey is fantastic, definately wouldn't clash on the field, is simple and also true to Essendon tradition. However, they would probably sell more jumpers if the clash guernsey was a crappy plain red jumper with the bomber logo on the front.

Some of the crap that is around looks like jumpers from amateur leagues or country leagues. Two crappy jumpers that spring to mind are Peel Thunder in the WAFL and Belconnen Magpies in the ACTAFL. WTF were they thinking with those jumpers.

I gotta say though, I tend to disagree with you a bit with what you say. I know personally, if we adopted a mostly yellow design with a couple of blue and red horizontal stripes, I'd probably buy it. But I would never buy any of the alternate jumpers we have ever offered up so far.

And I think with Essendon too, especially given the fight they put up to avoid wearing a clash jumper, most fans would probably prefer an alternate strip that was still very similar. I guess it comes down to which club you support and what the jumper is, how often it is changed etc. Also really its up to the individual. Some just buy the jumper because its new, but others like myself, will only buy it cos they like it.

Pity that logo is now outdated! Otherwise I guess it would be simple as a clash design... not that Hawthorn need one.

here are a couple of other crows ones ive designed....

First ones are good, but too much 50-50 in terms of predominate colour to use as a clash jumper. Third would be GREAT if yellow, last one for some reason i'm not really diggin.

But glad to see you are using your noggin and comin up with something better than the hideous things we have now!

hey about someone does some for all the states and allies iincluding QLD< NSW/ACT, NT, TAS

and that port one designed by the 10 y.o. kid is the best clash jumper anyones ever come up with for them......though crow_28 does have the best designs as well
