Heard this morning that Allan Donald will be Australia's new bowling coach - could be a good appointment.

Poms making a mess of Sri Lanka in the First Test of the English summer. England made 298 batting first, and then rolled the visitors for a pathetic 91. Anderson and Broad took 9 for 37 between them.
The Poms then enforced the follow on: fair chance this will be over inside 3 days.
The capitulation is complete. Sri Lanka reached 2 for 79, but then they lost 8 for 40 to lose by an innings and 88 runs. Anderson finished with match figures of 10 for 45, but Bairstow was man of the match for his 140.The Poms are getting good at preparing wickets to suit their bowlers. Then again the Lankans would know all about preparing wickets to suit the home side.
Yeah they're woeful. They were 1 for 44 at one stage, but they slumped to 8 for 91 at stumps. I reckon they'd struggle away to Zimbabwe right nowSri Lanka are trailing Moeen Ali by 61 runs with two wickets in hand after day 2 of the second test at Chester-le-Street.

You want some ridiculous stats? Sri Lanka has now lost 28 for 301 for the series, which is less than 11 runs per wicket. Numbers like that make the Redbacks seem like Bradman's Invincibles. You could be right - Chris Woakes 3 for 9 ffs. Chris Woakes!
The massive number of posts on this forum clearly indicate an unprecedented level of interest in the tri series in the Caribbean....... yeah I feel the same way!!!
It should be spelt TRY, not TRI - as in try to generate a bit of interest in a meaningless ODI series in the middle of footy seasonThere's a tri series?

Yeah and if it's them, it'll be sweet to knock them off. South Africa are perennial finals chokers - it'd be lovely to keep it that way!!!At least Australia have made the final. It will probably be against the Proteas.

Might be a good final. Both sides have dangerous players, so it may come down to the wire.Once again the Proteas choked and didn't even make the final. They had the Windies 4/21 and let them make 285. Would have been good to beat them in another final though.
5/105 Zampa just knocked over PollardAustralia 9/270 after 50 overs. Windies turn to bat.
