Yep, glad to finally see him getting some reward for the effort he's put in.

If not for some horrible injury luck he should have been the keeper for the last couple of years.

He was all over the place today. Had no idea how to play Anderson. You can bowl fuller to him because he stands so far back in his crease and when the ball is moving, it's a recipe for disaster.

Would have thought so, Maxwell has pretty much beaten the door down in his last few innings and Handscomb looks completely at sea both mentally and technically. Could benefit from some time out of the spotlight to regain confidence in his technique.

Handscomb had a unique technique to begin with but it looks as though he has tried to alter it a bit over the last 6 months which has affected his confidence and his ability to play full length deliveries.

I'm not sure who is responsible in relation to technique changes. but I often wonder why players/coaches alter techniques when they are playing with full confidence. Hughes, Khawaja, Handscomb and a number of others have all been impacted by this.

But, if he was to come in, who would he replace heading into a Perth test?

Since the end of the last Australian summer, Handscomb's scores have been:

22, 19, 16, 24, 19, 72*, 8 and 18 in India
33, 15, 82 and 16* in Bangladesh
14, 36 and 12 vs England

Just don't think that's going to cut it any more, unfortunately.
