They won't get enough runs and then bowl them out.
A very poor series by Australia.

why's Green 3 off 25 odd? I thought we wanted to win this test and rain predicted tomorrow
Warner and Wade?I hope they get rolled, because that's the only way the broom is going to come out.
Losing 4 quick wickets has put a holt to that. We're only 170 ahead, these 2 need to steady the ship for a bit.
Why are we still batting? There's gonna be some time lost to rain at some stage tomorrow, if not later today. Get them in there and have a go at them.
If they can't dismiss India (without Kohli) for under 300 in the 4th innings of a test match on a pitch with a fair few cracks, then they don't deserve to win.
Heard on the radio here (and as it was my wake up alarm going off don't shoot me if not totally correct !)
But something like if India lose today then they need to win 4-0 over England to qualify for the test championship, draw they need to win 3-0.
cant remember what they said if aussie won, something about the series in South Africa
The concept of the Test Championship has been a major disappointment. The weighting of points is totally skewed - winning an Ashes match gets you 24 points, but beating West Indies in a match from a two-Test series gets you 60? I guess COVID mucked it up a bit so it's now got even more convoluted with points being averaged out against game played, but since it started at the 2019 Ashes, Australia has only played one overseas series, but the toughest three opponents at home - England, NZ and India. Bangladesh has hardly played anyone. And even if COVID never happened, there was never going to be an Ashes Test, or a series against WI or SL, home or away, this side of the final. And now it looks like the two finalists won't include England, but the final will be at Lord's in front of no one?
The concept is a good one, but version 1.0 of anything tends to be a bit crap. Their in that it is the ICC running it and then, well, the less said the better. The concept of the Test Championship has been a major disappointment. A comment that would shock no-one.I don't give it the slightest notice.

Personally, I'd have mandated three-test series, so they all count equally. If you want to play four or five, then that's fine, but only the first three count.
And you have to play everyone home and away. If it takes five years to get through, so be it.

It'll take some getting used to, but test cricket lacks context. ODIs have that to a degree with the world cup, but people in most of the world won't care about tests unless there is some relevance to it. Give it time.
