And if I see Lamburschagne mimicking his equally wan^ker buddy in Smith with the completely ridiculous leaving the ball nonsense, I won't follow the team a day further.

At least they’re good. Wade is a w*nker that can’t even score runs. The number of times our shabby DRS reviews can be traced back to him is also shocking.

Haven't seen it.

I respected his courageous batting but I didn't like him then and I still don't.

I don't think he is very bright at all.
Embarrassment to left handers never made runs without being dropped
And yeah Mr Packer saved his life.
I always thought he was slightly autistic and that gave him his drive, kinda like ret”!rd strength

Couldn't care less how good they are.

They'd do very well watching how Kallis played cricket where hard and tough but kept his mouth shut unless necessary.

AB DeVilliers an absolute superstar and never indulged in this mouthy childish shit.

These two guys are an embarrassment regardless how good they are.

ps; Wade is not worth talking about. Just piss him off for good (coming from a Tasmanian)

NSW does it again. Starc is no longer an Australian cricketer, no matter what format.
Lol, imagine how garbage the Australian side would be without NSW.

Reminds me of the whole get a baggy green when you get your baggy blue garbage which was still persisting a few years back during a period where there were literally no NSW selectors on the panel.

On this;
Best 3 cricketers in your lifetime. So don't quote unless seen personally not just on TV or records.

Mine;
1. Kallis (just a gun batsman, slipsman and handy medium bowler - best all rounder ever.
2. Ponting (a beautiful batsman to watch. Fearless on any wicket
3. Tendulkar (obviously one of the greatest but as Ponting a better Captain and fielder I have him just below)

Kohli and Williamson might change that order in next few years. Lara great to watch and Sanga underrated.

Bowlers are McGrath, Warne and Steyn.

Yeah well said, credit to India that was a brilliant effort. We lost fair and square , Test cricket won though.

Oh absolutely lost fair and square.

Imagine if they had their 2 best players in............

This is how you deal with mouthy dickheads.

Less is more. Our idiots could learn from it.

And I wouldn't pick Kallis in a million years. A very tough but respectful hombre.

Kallis my favourite of all time. Built like a brick shithouse but carried himself like a gentleman.

I'd disagree he bowled mediums. First half of his career he was touching 140km.

Medium quick I meant mate.

1. Kallis for all the reasons you mention, bar the 'medium' comment.

2. Dale Steyn - best bowler I've ever seen. 140-145kph, hooping both ways, aggressive. Just a freak.

3. Brian Lara - carried that West Indian lineup and took it to the best attacks. Man, when he was on he went BIG.

Honourable mentions: Ponting, Tendulkar, Kohli, Williamson, de Villiers, Sangakkara, and honestly...Babar.

Kallis barely got in an argument his whole career yet batted 3 and bowled 1st change at times.

Just got on with job, soldier like and a big man btw.

Lara I loved watching but I think he was vulnerable as many WI batsman are. Likely to hit a 4 as much as Nick it as loose but with flair (awesome eye)

I'll edit mine and put him in

Themanbun on TV Cummins is referred to as a fast medium........

Apparently no-one is "fast" is all I meant.....ha

Yep all good!

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I think it goes:

Medium
Medium Fast
Fast Medium
Fast
...
Shoaib Akhtar.

Yep but it's a very suspicious way to do it.

Riley Meredith hits 150 and Fast Medium......so Not sure outside get much quicker than that (outside a select few)

I think Lee consistently quicker than Akhtar who burnt out way too quickly. Brad Williams, the NZer I forget and Tait as quick as both.

The Windies 80s quicks had bounce against poorly equipped batsman but they'd be smashed around now imo. The videos show they weren't quick just batsman not good enough.

Fidel Edwards and Tino Best hit 150plus and treated with contempt against the modern age with bowling machines and best padding etc - the old blokes before cricket became so professional. (and $$$$)

The best current batsman would smash Malcolm Mashall and co.

Just tell it like it is guys. Nearly two record run chases by a country's B side, on day 5 pitches. Not good enough when you have the purported best bowling attack in the world.

The plans are sh*t, they don't even try to swing the ball, they just bang it in short and hope to Bodyline their way to a victory. It's been the strategy for years now and countries have worked it out.
Yes you are spot on. Two x Day 5 pitches and our attack could not get it done...even lost this one. Seemed a brainless approach too, epitomised by Starc getting belted for 20 off one over. Plenty to think about but the attack is the least of our problems although I agree with the inclusion of more variety. Swing anyone? Better spinning option? The batting has been lacklustre, shown up badly in the last two tests by a makeshift attack and the shortcomings hidden by the India debacle of all out for 36. Throughout the series some Aussie batsmen played like millionaires on a light beer budget. Adelaide a good result masked by an outstanding bowling performance, Melbourne a lousy effort and could not get it done against the B team ( no disrespect at all to the Indian gladiators) on two day 5 pitches. And it is all complicated by the lack of the Shield matches at this most important time in the season. BBL is nothing more than entertainment...and I use the term generously. Seriously, is our next opening pair going to come out of this 'tournament?' How about a resilient middle order batsman? Again, well done to India in this respect. We have much to learn from this series (and if we are honest, from the NZ and Sri Lanka series last year) before we progress. Too many big heads need to deflate also, although I hope that some are shown the dressing room door. Not confident though especially given my earlier comments re Sheffield Shield.

Rant over. When does the footy start?
