Great to be back!

I remember my time at the crocs previously very fondly, look forward to helping take us back to the top again!

just working out the points system with bp's after 120 overs instead of last years 90.

I reckon everyone will go for a batter pitch as 120 overs just about guarantees max batting points.

Great team performance in the 5 day format lads...

Ended up winning inside 4 days which is always good.....Batted well, bowled well and fielded well.

Bring on the next round of fixtures


P.S - In regards to the best and fairest im also happy to do a 3-2-1 per game aswell - Perhaps those who want to just send their votes through to Frodo via PM who can then tally up the votes each round etc and keep them secret till the end of the season and then we can have an award night?

Perhaps have the awards as

One Day Player of the season
First Class Player of the season
Batter of the season (Runs, average etc - to be decided by stats and what not)
Bowler of the season (to be decided same as above except using bowling stats)
Best first year player/new recruit/signing of season
Best Clubman of the year
Captains award.

I used to have another account, that was back in '06. Due to personal reasons, I had the administrators deactivate my account.

I was never on this board though, with my previous account. With my current one, I would browse through the threads without posting. After a while, I decided to give it a go. I become admin, and the rest is history.

I knew things from earlier in the competition because I did my research.

I dont know why but i always seem to score well opening the batting in tests but can never replicate it in the one dayers.....Im thinking perhaps a drop down the order to 4, 5 or 6 may help me rediscover some form in the one day arena.

Obviously its up to the captain's to decide but its just a suggestions.......Definately have to stay opening in tests though....Im a gun there.

I'm quite happy with the test squad, but if Equus needs another one day player I am all for it.

I'll let him make the call.

Will be utilizing a rotation policy afterward if I bring in another player but at the same time, there is no room for inactives who can banter for us.
