I dont think that they'll cave but I do believe that we'll compromise.

Three-way with Geelong, we'll get one of the Ablett picks and Laidler for Sauce and our second round pick.

No inside knowledge on this one, just trying to put the following together-

1) the late mail that we're sending Geelong a second round pick
2) That we have interest in Laidler.

I'm just trying to work out what Adelaide is sending Geelong (perhaps it's their second round pick and Sellar; Geelong did have an interest in him as a defender).

Question -- where in the first round are those Ablett picks sitting if used this year?

So I'll throw the trade up as ultimately being;

To Geelong: Adelaide's second round pick + Carlton's second round pick + James Sellar
To Adelaide: Sam Jacobs
To Carlton: The higher of the two Ablett picks + Laidler

Essendon have refused to trade with Richmond on Houli, so Houli looks set to be Richmond first pick in the PSD

I assume it is giving up pick 14 or Talia for a direct swap?

When will you stupid people (no, I'm not referring to Crows fans as stupid, just people who say "but Houli is Richmond's PSD pick") get it through your thick heads? Houli has already hinted that he'll be drafted by Richmond in the NAB Draft not the PSD.

This news has been in countless articles in relation to Houli over the past few days.

Richmond have also spoken to Jacobs' agent and confirmed that if he nominates for the PSD then they'll pick him at the price that Adelaide sets. It is then believed that rather than go to Richmond that he'll resign with Carlton as he has no desire to play with any other Melbourne-based club other than Carlton.
