Crowd v Melbourne

Hi guys, just wanted to see how many, if any of you are making the trip to Melbourne this week? On our board we aren't expecting a crowd of more than about 14-15k so we'd be grateful if any of you were.

15K would be exceptionally disappointing then - you need support in what could be a possible win (but gees, I really hope not ).

Has Connolly been in the media much trying to sell the club at all? Whatever criticisms people here may have, he did stir up some passion in the Freo faithful when we were in pretty bad shape.

There may not be many Freo people there on Sunday, but I can guarantee they will be loud.

He probably hasn't been as visible as we would have hoped.

Especially having gone from a public, well known coach in Daniher to Bailey, who is still an unknown and not media-savvy as of yet. To sum it up, when told of the fact that fans will be allowed onto the ground after the game on the weekend, Bailey's response was "Oh, that will be nice".

I'm with you though, no reason that we can't get 20k there. However, going on recent history of crowds in games between these two teams in Melbourne, 15 is more realistic.
