I'm tipping it will be really poor. Two struggling sides battling it out coupled with the fact that it's orthodox easter this weekend meaning a lot of people who'd normally go won't due to family committments. A lot of pissed off richmond fans out there may also vote with their feet this week.

I reckon lucky to get more than 30k.

Thoughts?

I hope it's at least a mildly impressive crowd. I'm taking a Korean girl who's only been out here a couple of months, and she needs to learn to love the game.

After this game she won't ever want to go again.

She definately won't stuggle to find a seat. You can pick and choose where to sit this week. Make sure you take a blindfold for her so she doesn't have to sit though the entire game.

It could go either way

Tigerfans may stay away because they are sick of the pathetic performances

OR they may come in droves because they think they might finally see the Tigers win!

I'll be there so the crowd will be at least 1

Tipping 40k. Melbourne fans will be thinking they are in with a chance and a number of ours will be thinking the same thing. Only thing that could see it below that number is the predicted rain.

40,000+ if it's a nice day. Both teams will be very hopefull of a win. It's our home game I think too. Remember we got 46,000 against Melbourne about Round 11 in 2007 when had lost the first 10 games.

After this game she won't ever want to go again.

thats absolute crap dude. After this game she will be in stitches and when she goes back to Korea she wont be able to stop talking about how the melbourne comedy festival is the best festival of comedy in the world.
The state govt and melbourne city council should get behind this game to generate tourist dollars. Use it as a promo for next years comedy festival.;)

I've just done the math,

This Sunday at the MCG there will be ...........

28,646 people.

(I left off the .33333......)

Our two 'G crowds to date:

Melb. v. NM - 28,707 [Demon majority]
Melb. v. Coll - 43,176

I'd estimate somewhere in the middle of that for this weekend, being at the 'G should help considerably, the members will turn out. 35/36 I reckon.

The crowd will be 42,541. If I'm right, everyone in here owes me $100 each

You've been wrong on so many other things in the last week, why buck the trend

38776 is my guesstimate If I'm right Madtiger can listen to an album of my choosing...... for a month!!!

easter this weekend for me and im sure alot of other supporters so wont be able to make it.

It has a big impact I tell you. When richo played his 200th against the power at the dome a few years ago it was orthodox sunday and a crowd of around only 22,000 went. One of the best tiger games of recent memory cause we were 40 pts down halfway through the second qtr and ended up winning by 10 goals and richo took a screamer just before half time to put us in front. A really disappointing turnout for the big man that day. :thumbsd:

Hmm...I'll be going but I doubt the crowd will be a big one. I'm tempted to go and sit infront of the coaches box with a bag of chicken manuire. lol
