in the third he looked lost up forward but once he got the first of his goal, he seemed to lift, he played the first half in defence and would have been in our top two defenders

Gunston ended up playing in Centrals reserves side. Only caught the last quarter of the reserves, but another reasonable game from him. Will be very close to playing league in the next couple of weeks. Donnelly appeared to have another quiet one.

Henderson in the league side had another great game and would certainly be pushing his case to be upgraded to the Crows main list. Kicked 2 goals, including a brilliant goal late in the third where he ran from the centre, had about 4-5 bounces (and could have bounced it more) and kicked a brilliant goal!

I'd be surprised if Moran's back by round 11, which could be another opening.

I'm not complaining nonetheless as it means Henderson will reach his 5 games required to play SANFL finals next week and the more games he gets at Centrals the merrier

I spoke to my old man who went to the game.

In short, he thought Henderson was very good today, in particularly his speed, long kicking and his ability to provide a contest.

Re Gunston, he had 6-7 shots at goal and finished with two majors, Norman got better as the game went on
