hey i was just wondering how many of the crows supporters on bigfooty are actually members?

i used to be but have not been for a couple of years because i only go to maybe 1 game a year, but im thinking of becoming a member this year if they decided to send me another letter trying to get me back

Yep, I've been a Gold member since 2006 but before that I was a Silver member since 2000. I changed to Gold member in 2006 because of how well we did in 2005 and up until the start of the 4th quarter in the Prelim final in 06, I thought I was off to the Grand Final....

I pay for a membership that is in someone elses name; last season she was too ill to attend the games, and this season her family have decided to keep the two memberships and let myself and my Dad use them again. That can't last forever though, I don't imagine the people on the waiting list would be too happy if they knew deceased people still had memberships

yep Silver Members since 1999 was on the waiting list for 2 years around for 4 people. cut it down to 3 people after a year

It would be good if my dad told me anything.

We went on to the waiting list around July last year, And because we hit the top when we were still in NSW (whenever the northern stand opened) we were put near the top. I think my dad must have an email but must be trying to suprise me for my birthday in 31 days.

We have been Silver members since 2002 - we were on the waiting list for 3 years until the new Northern grandstand was opened in that year.

Up until 2006 we lived in the country and we travelled 500 kms round trip to go to every game. We now live in Adelaide and it takes 35 minutes to drive to the game at AAMI Stadium.
(Thats why I am amused when some people say it is too far to go to AAMI Stadium for the football - we love to watch the Crows no matter where and when.)

in '05/'06 i sold my ticket to a son of my dad's friend. Then I started using it again in '07.
He never bothered to put his name on the waiting list, from the looks of it if he had of been proactive about the whole thing he would probably have his own membership by now. Wonder how long he thought he was going to use my membership for... =\ Feel kinda bad for him, but its MINE
