If you include recruited from Sturt via Carlton, it's Ben Nelson. Otherwise, I think it's Martin Mattner.

Sanderson, Nelson, Atkinson, Mattner (who looks promising but has done little so far), ... Are these the best players the Double Blues have produced for Adelaide? If so, that is shocking.

Sturt don't produce players they recruit them. For Port their only one is French. Looking at the rest of the AFL they haven't offered much at all, Sanderson, Lange & Begley the only others i can think of add Feast to that and that only makes nine players in recent memory that have played AFL from Sturt with only Sanderson & French making any sort of impact (i'm sure in time Mattner will too). But anyway you look at it it's a pretty poor effort.

marvin's right ... on both counts.

Marty Mattner's played the most games of any played recruited from Sturt. Nelson was recruited from Carlton, but he's a Sturt boy as well.

We've picked up the following Sturt boys:
Mattner - 7 games
Sanderson - 6 games
Atkinson - 5 games
Stevens - 2 games
Packer - 0 games
Kennett - 0 games
Laidlaw - 0 games
