I hope we get him because he would be a HUGE get and might fill us in on how Sydney are managing thier players and keeping the injury count low.
If we can pinch Jonas I would be over the moon but judging by his interview on 5AA during the week, its very unlikely that he will leave Sydney until his contract expires.Jonas in Crows' sights to replace Pyke

ADELAIDE is poised to target Sydney's Peter Jonas for the assistant coaching role vacated by Don Pyke.
Coach Neil Craig says the Crows will be pro-active and "head-hunt" a "quality person" for its third assistant coach's position rather than advertise like crosstown rival Port has done.
"We'll try to head-hunt someone," Craig said after midfield coach Pyke yesterday stepped down from the role to return to Perth to pursue "business and other interests".
"I think our club knows the industry well enough to know who is available and the qualities and skills the person needs to have and our network is good enough to go out and identify those people," Craig said.
South Australian Jonas, who guided Central District to its first SANFL flag in 2000 and is highly-respected for the work he has done at Sydney under Paul Roos, is believed to be high on Adelaide's most-wanted list. He is contracted to Sydney for another year but it is understood that if he wants to return home the Swans will not stand in his way.
Craig said the club officially had "no specific person in mind" but would leave no stone unturned to find the "appropriate person" to support him and assistants David Noble and Paul Hamilton.
"I'm looking for a person who can debate, who can question, is not full of football jargon, who can analyse, probably who has had some degree of coaching experience in his own right and is not afraid of change or the use of technology," he said.
Jonas fits the bill while the Crows also will look at who else is available at AFL, SANFL and VFL clubs.
Craig described the loss of Pyke - who fielded inquiries about the vacant St Kilda head coaching job and is now likely to fill a minor role with West Coast or Fremantle - as "disappointing", noting he had been "a great contributor and an important part of the coaching team".
Craig yesterday revealed:
BEN Hart's playing future is likely to be decided in the next few days.
The 32-year-old veteran, who wants another one-year contract, spoke at length with Craig yesterday about his plans. But Hart will only be at West Lakes next year if he can convince Craig he can handle the "physical side of the game and training loads we expect from our players".
RUCK coach Mick Redden would not be employed full-time to fast-track the development of young ruckmen Ivan Maric, John Meesen and Jonathon Griffin. "But we do need to make a decision if more (time) is needed," Craig said.
HE does not expect to make a play for an experienced ruckman such as West Coast's Michael Gardiner or Hawthorn's Peter Everitt to replace fallen lead ruckman Rhett Biglands.
"If I had to err to one side at the moment I'd say let's back those young kids in," Craig said.
NO delistings would be announced by the Crows until after the October 9-13 trade period.
I hope we get him because he would be a HUGE get and might fill us in on how Sydney are managing thier players and keeping the injury count low.
