Noticed in the paper today that the Crows expected their to be atleast 4 reports from the match to Port players. I can understand where they are coming from and I can name the four players now -
Burgoyne (charge)
Montgomery (Striking)
Carr (Striking i guess for forcing Bode off with the blood rule)
and Primus (eye gouging Bickley - that's why Bickley has that huge scratch under his eye)

The Carr and Primus incidents were behind the play and they both drew blood from their opposition so wouldn't behind the play, when the ball isn't there, where no body can see it technically just as cowardly and dirty as what Bickley did?

A good friend of mine has been saying for ages that Primus is getting quite a rep for this sort of stuff.
And in fact the Barry Hall incident was actually a payback for an earlier incident.

He's also getting a rep for being the best ruckman in the comp. If f***wit bickley decides to charge head long into Primus at a boundary throw in, how is it Primus' fault when bickley comes off second best?

You may of named names, but unfortunatley the AFl doesn't tend to agree. Monty the only one in a little trouble.

The Primus incedant is clearly shown on the television footage of the match, there is no eye gouging - unless he can do that with his elbow.

Primus came down from a ruck contest with the ball, Bickley has rushed in to tackle/hold him up and as Primus lands his elbow cops Bickley - no malice, unfortunate but not reportable. Not even warranting a free kick.

Bickley leaves the field immediately after the incedent, and clearly didnt have blood before the ruck contest or the umpire would have asked him to leave - so your allegation is baseless.

Burgoyne should never have been cited, as he had come to a stop (or more to the point had slowed after attacking the contest, and merely jumped for preservation. Unlike Shauns earlier in the year and Mcleod who jumped with horizontal velocity at the mark taker.

Carr I didn't see and hence wont comment on, but suspect something went on behind play. (Note the behind the play stuff wasnt all one way traffic!!!)

Monty will go a week, but once again it must be asked what he was retaliating to and if that warranted a citing as well. I remember Wanganeen copping a couple of games a few years ago for throwing the knees deliberately into someones back after he was out of the marking contest!!

Bird Man?? - more like chicken ****.

Mostly a sensible post up until the last sentence. However, calling Birdman chicken **** when lying on his back on the ground being punched & crunched by a couple of Port players is a bit rough (ie. it was 2 on to 1!). His eye showed the outcome of Monty's actions. Sure have a go that Burton didn't have his best game against Bishop, but calling a guy chicken when he is basically defenceless on the ground with 2 Port players on him is pathetic!

Bickley didn't actually go off the field straight after the boundary throw-in. He chased the ball down the ground, and was followed closely by a PAP player, who flung his left arm round, with his fist in the direction of Buckley's face.

Now, IMHO, that could have been when Bickley's cheek split open. Bickley immediately puts his hand to his face, and comes from the ground.
