Surely the only way Marsh will play if we have 3 late withdrawals! Heard Burns has been named for Port. I gather Dogga will probably be the unlucky player to miss with Mattner likely to get the nod.

For Freo, J Longmuir has been named on the bench, so I expect he will miss (if he plays, he will start on the ground). Who knows for the other 2 to drop out? I expect Schammer & Jones to play, probably along with Cunnigham who is well liked by the coach. So that would leave it between Browne, Haines & Edgecumbe for the other 2 spots.

Can Freo go with any smaller forward line, with Sandlilands (a ruckman) the only tall named in a pocket ... or did the selectors get confused between TLo & JLo? Troy just a smidge small for CHF!

Freo have too many players out IMO. I would be disappointed if we don't win this easily.

Looks like I might have been wrong with nominating the 4 B's t o be starting on the bench, with Burns named for the port Magpies.

Those to miss look like being Burns, Marsh and posibly Doughty.

Heard late last night that Burns will most probably play for Port in SANFL, which is not a real surprise considering his form. If we are picking on form then Doughty will get dropped as Mattner has had a slightly better Wizard Cup. But I think it will come down as to how we want to play. If selection Commitee feels that it needs a more offensive player then Doughty will get in and if they want someone more defensive then I think Mattner is in. Either way who ever misses can consider himself unlucky.

I feel that Mattner will get the nod for his hardness at a man and at footy. I cannot wait for Sunday.

As for Marsh, he has no chance in hell if Clarke and Biglands are fit.

Longmuir definitely won't play.

I think Justin Longmuir, Ben Cunningham and Greg Edgecumbe will be cut from our squad. Schammer will be making his debut.

Although, if Andrew Browne doesn't come up, Cunningham might play? Or Edgecumbe?

It's gonna be tough playing without our FB, CHB, CHF and FF.

Tourney's been the revelation so far. Defensively been very good and supplied up forward.

Can't beleive the difference in the forward line this year. Carey has made a huge difference. His presence won't be measured.

Just wish they'd lift the intensity. Look like they're cruising.

i was there again , as ive had season tickets for 8 year, and the crowd was soo loud!!!! when carey came off and was warming down, the crowd down my end gave him such a reception, it nearly gave me goosebumps. i think wayne wouldve bee releaved to get it over and done with, and to know that he has the support of the crows faithful.

ooh hey i was the VERY first person to get wayne's signature when get got out of his car for the game today!!!! i was like'w-wayne can i ave ur signature??" i also got Brent Reilly's, ladhams and stevens sigantures. - My guernseys nearly all filled up !!!!

i was surprised with the amount of game time that reilly got though, especially when he was named earlier to start on the field. he did show some flashes of brilliance for the short time he was on, kicking two good goals.
