bad fixturing has contributed to this. Poor selections not bringing in more fresh players after a gruelling game 5 days ago. And very poor coaching. Not playing the kids in the guts in this last quarter where their fresh bodies could have helped was just stupid. Make ****ing changes Nicks. If you keep doing the same thing over and over and expect a different outcome you are a ****ing delusional fool.

How do you have composure when the fix is in?

There was no fix. Just simple mistakes that we keep making. Take this week, we lost our heads and just tried to play as fast as possible when under pressure, which led to bad decision after bad decision. Last week, it's the same story, throughout that game, we made so many avoidable errors.

You put yourself in a position where an umpire can decide a game, you deserve to lose.

I didn't grow up with football but it appears to me that every time an opposition coach with the slightest bit of game intelligence changes something up mid-game, Nicks is incapable of responding. It's infuriating especially with the talent at his disposal.

Ran out of legs after half time - nothing left in the tank! Also outplayed and outcoached...needed a few smaller runners that were fresh....Taylor looked OK...but others were spent. Similar to our loss to them after we had to play GC in the heat...last year. You'd reckon for once in while we'd not have come up against them after a sauna the week before...(exactly the same margin too...19 points).
