Sorry but this shit never fails to crack me up

dockerland.com said:
Fremantle started their undefeated tilt at the premiership last week when they picked up a much needed 4 points after 3 weeks of being umpired out of the game. This week they come up against the questionable form of Adelaide who, somehow have managed to overcome Fremantle's pre-season confidence shattering victory over them to put themselves into 3rd place.

The last time Adelaide came to Subiaco Oval was in April last year. At the time, the 11 point loss didn't go down all that well with certain "supporters" but as the Crows swept through the competition with 10 goal plus wins left, right and centre, it started to look like a pretty good effort. Adelaide caught the Dockers sleeping early and got out to an early lead and from there the two sides slugged it out on the Crows terms. The Dockers pegged Adelaide back in the second half but ran out of time and petrol. Jeff Farmer and Graham Polak put through 3 goals each for Freo, Adelaide relied on the much more boring method of getting a bunch of blokes to spread the goal kicking around evenly. Byron Schammer had 32 disposals, Peter Bell 28 and Brent Reilly 25 for Adelaide. The Clinton Wolf Medal voting committee liked the look of Peter Bell, Aaron Sandilands and Graham Polak.

Fremantle took their revenge a few months later though. They headed to Football Park showing a bit of form but with many suggesting their season was on the line. Fremantle ripped through the flag favourites like the Blues Brothers through a shopping centre, winning by 15 points and stretching their winning streak to an unprecedented 6 in a row.

Jeff Farmer kicked 3 goals, Matthew Pavlich kicked 2. For the Crows, Matthew Bode kicked 4 and Trent Hentschel 3. Peter Bell got rid of the ball 32 times and Tyson Edwards had 33 touches. The umpires were impressed with the Fremantle players, giving top votes to Heath Black and Byron Schammer with Tyson Edwards picking up a conciliation vote. Clinton Wolf liked Peter Bell's work rate, gave Heath Black the 2 votes and snuck Farmer in for 1.

There was another game in 2006 which didn't go quite so well for Fremantle. Full of confidence after a winning streak that stretched back over two months, Fremantle hit a wall when they returned to Football Park for a Qualifying final. In their first final away from home, the Dockers faced some hostile conditions but got off to a flyer, kicking the first 4 goals of the match. The Crows fought back but the Dockers clung to their lead for most of the game, only succumbing in the final quarter when the ever increasing breeze blew the Crows home to a 30 point win.

Adelaide threw their blocking, spoiling, humdrum best at Fremantle so there weren't many goals kicked. Pavlich and Farmer topped the Freo list with 2 each and Nathan Bock did the same for Adelaide. Heath Black and Michael Johnson had the most of the ball for Fremantle, while Scott Thompson had the most for the Crows with 30 touches. Clinton Wolf liked the work of Shaun McManus, Ryan Crowley and Michael Johnson.

Adelaide's win at Subiaco Oval last year was just their third over at the ground Fremantle. They've struggled to beat the Dockers in their 8 attempts, including being the only team to lose to the Dockers at home for the entire 2001 season.

Fremantle's last win over Adelaide at Subiaco Oval was in Round 3, 2004. Fresh from their first finals appearance, the Dockers phoned in their first half, scoring just 3 goals. Luckily the Crows kicking away was even worse than it was at home and they put through 10 behinds. The Dockers got their act together in the second half and over ran Adelaide to win by 9 points. Troy Longmuir kicked 4 goals for Fremantle, Matthew Pavlich had a lazy 32 possessions and Paul Medhurst managed an impressive 1 goal 4. For the Crows, Mark Ricciuto had the most of the ball and a bloke by the name of Wayne Carey kicked a couple of goals.

All up, Fremantle have played the Crows 19 times for 7 wins.

So far this season, Adelaide have won 3 of their 4 matches. They were thrashed by Essenodn in the opening round of the season but fought back to beat a struggling Western Bulldogs, local rivals Port Adelaide and a disinterested Sydney Swans outfit in a low scoring scrap.

Fremantle had a huge win over Melbourne away from home last week and will return to Subiaco Oval with the martyred Michael Johnson. In previous weeks they've had some bad luck, losing to Port Adelaide, Essendon and West Coast. They are currently sitting in 13th spot on the ladder, just two games out of the top 4.

My favourite parts, lol. After R22:
Fremantle had a great season, finishing at 16th on the ladder, a measly 9 games short of the top 4. They were unlucky in recent weeks, losing to Adelaide, Brisbane, Collingwood, Carlton, Essendon, Footscray, Geelong, Hawthorn, Melbourne, North Melbourne, Port Adelaide, Richmond, St Kilda, Sydney and West Coast.

Freo are easily as funny as Richmond :thumbsu:

Gold!:thumbsu::thumbsu: :D:D

I am a bit torn. On the one hand I hope you guys thump the bejesus outta them but then that might mean they get rid of the biggest coaching tool ever! And we dont want that, they may actually learn to win the games that matter if they had a half decent coach.

Dockerland doesn't pretend to be anything other than a site for Freo fanatics. It doesn't strive to be balanced, and previews and match reports are always massively skewed toward a Freo point of view. People that go there expecting a realistic preview will be disappointed; don't say you weren't warned. Saying that, threads on the site can often contain very insightful comment and it's frequently very funny, especially for Freo fans like myself.

Anyway here's hoping for a good game this weekend and a Freo win. :D

I would be extremely embarrassed if a "crowland.com" had the same biased view, it certainly doesn't give your club any credibility which is something Freo lack severely.

I find the reports funny, and generally enjoy them v:)v
And that is what the report is written for... comedy value. Yes it is biased but seriously it was on the dockerland.com website not on bigfooty.com. Take it for what it is, a biased look at our club which is meant for dockers fans and for opposition fans who have a sense of humour.

Why on earth would you be embarassed? If this preview was on the official site then, yes it would strain crediblility. But it's not! Dockerland doesn't pretend to be anything other than massively biased towards everything Freo.

Dockerland reminds us that football is not to be taken too seriously. If you don't understand that it's all tongue in cheek then the jokes on you.

Bullshit it's tounge in cheek, i got banned from the forum for suggesting that Chris Judd was a better player then Peter Bell. Those guys are complete loons.

Mate it is a site full of bias towards the dockers. You could have got banned for saying Judd is better than Phil Gilbert. It is meant as tongue in cheek, a bit of fun but every opposition takes it so dam seriously

I found it quite hilarious. Good stuff.

In 2001 I think they were more than 9 games out of the top four. More like 12 games!
