If Keays snaps can he just try snapping it higher so Freo players can't touch it on the line or take a mark on the goal line in the dying moments of the match.

Has regularly given Tex a bath in previous matches.Alex Pearce is no spud
Sure. Crows by 4 goals for me too.
If we lose tonight, sack him straight away before the season is wasted? So far the season has gone
Nicks vs coaches he has a >30% win rate against: 4-0
Nicks vs coaches he has a <30% win rate against: 0-2
20% win rate against Longmuir. It's time for Nicks to start winning against a broader range of coaches

It will be interesting as Thilthorpe is a different problem than Tex. Tex while no less strong is quite a bit shorter than Thilthorpe who excels at marking the ball at its apex so Pearce is going to need 3rd man up support as if its one v one, Thilthorpe might be too hard to contain.Has regularly given Tex a bath in previous matches.
No current season stats available
I wouldn’t be counting out Curtin as an offensive threat. His leading and marking are actually very impressive, and playing in front of his family and friends, and being given licence to play closer to goal, I could easily see him with 3 or 4 majors. It will be interesting as Thilthorpe is a different problem than Tex. It would be well within his ability to do that and it will only serve to make the WA sides come extra hard after him unfortunately imo. As I noted previously, I just wish we had already secured him on a very long term deal as if he does start to fire, its only going to get much harder to do and much more expensive if we can do it.I wouldn’t be counting out Curtin as an offensive threat. A two week window in April 2005 so we were probably playing some okay footyI read somewhere that when there hasn't been a sitting Pope, Freo have never won a game and the Crows have never lost one. I think that would have to be a pretty small sample space.
That would be a nice welcome change given that they've beaten us by a point four times.I would be happy with a one point win.
When you couple that with the unreal injury run, the quality of our side and we should be where we are at a minimum.Look I will always support sacking Nicks, so yes
So far the season has gone largely as expected. St Kilda, Essendon and North all relatively poor teams and should have been pencilled in as wins before the season. None of those teams/coaches have (or should have) troubled Nicks all that much
Gold Coast and Geelong, coached by two coaches Nicks has struggled against, lost both of those. Roughly on par with expectations.
I had us winning one of the GWS or Fremantle games, leaning towards GWS due to Nicks better record against Kingsley vs Longmuir.
So if we beat Fremantle tonight we would be one win ahead of expectations.
Following that throughout the rest of the season I think the expectations are us beating Carlton, Port Adelaide, West Coast and Richmond. Similarly, losing to Collingwood, Brisbane, Hawthorn, Bulldogs. And a couple of question marks over teams like Sydney and Melbourne (Nicks poor record vs those teams poor form).
Applying that to the season I'd have us somewhere around 11-13 wins heading into North Melbourne in the final round which is a really dangerous game. Wouldn't want us needing that win to make finals, weight of expectations and so on.
Basically I want to see us do more than just match expectations. This is not a game I expect a coach like Nicks to win, similar to how I don't expect him to beat Collingwood at the MCG. Even though I believe the team itself, the players, are good enough to beat Fremantle. Winning those sorts of games goes a long way to proving Nicks is better than we all think he is, and that as a team we are projecting to be better than a fringe finals chance.
Lose our three upcoming tests (Fremantle away, Collingwood away, Sydney away) and heading into games against Brisbane and Hawthorn... Nicks would be basically cooked at the bye
People can’t seriously be discussing sacking a coach 6 games into a season when they sit 4 and 2. Even more so when you consider we could easily have won both losses as well. When you couple that with the unreal injury run, the quality of our side and we should be where we are at a minimum.
People look at the improvement from last years shit show and think we’ve done well, we’ve done par.
Let's make a board pact not to mention you know what
6. McAsey, 7. Young, 8. Serong
I’m not saying he should be sacked now, I’m saying the club or anyone sit here and think he’s done a great job.People can’t seriously be discussing sacking a coach 6 games into a season when they sit 4 and 2. Even more so when you consider we could easily have won both losses as well.
I get some people don’t like Nicks but come on.

Winning a final has to be a minimum.
We don’t want another Hinkley and we are already 6 years and he’s demonstrated time and again shit judgement.
