What are peoples predictions now after the first 5 rounds? We only beat Carlton and Melbourne (everybody does) but have lost to Hawthorn, Bulldogs and North (who really did kill us despite the scoreboard) Tigers will win next week as they will be desperate after no wins and we all know how geelong go against desperate sides + well be goin in as favourites(never good) and then West Coast, I can feel another losing streak coming on now. Thoughts?

2. At 6-10, we 'charge' to the finals winning 5 of the last 6 to just miss out and Thompson declares we are ready for 2008

3. We limp into the finals and finish 7th. Make Semi if we are lucky. Another year we do not get a great pick, and have no impact in finals.

4. We turn it all around and finish 14-8 and just in the top 4. WE make the prelim, but lose.

If we really try, we could possibly put in the most laughable losing streak in history starting with Richmond this week. Only 5 more to go to match last year , but this year we could get a bonus set of staek knives - yes coachs' head.
AFter that, the fitness staff,marketing, car park attendants, ground announcer and by our 10 loss in a row, the players can have a signed garbage bag from all us members whom deserve more than this fraudulant attempt to represent the second oldest football club in the world....

We have a team out there that are oviously not playing to keep there coach.
You dont have to be Einstein to work that out. Look at the Kangaroos today , and even last week in Brisbane. they know there coach has had his head on the chopping block and they are putting in 100% for him , even if they are not that gifted.
Geelong know that they have to fight if they want to keep Bomber there and look how there playing. Dont expect too much improvement.

THIS IS MY OPTION, I THINK WE NEED SOMEONE NEW AT THE CLUB

Last year in the corresponding game we won by over 10 goals. This year, despite apparently a thorough review and a fitter team, we lose by 3 goals.

Haven't beaten Kangaroos in the wet for a long time....nothing changed!!!

Ain't no Carey in the 'Roos forward line however. My prediction will be a) as a side playing without passion or heart will almost always lose. Geelong will NOT beat an interstate side this season if they find ways to lose to the Kangaroos at K.P this year, after their 'comprehensive review'.

Remember, we have probably played the softest 6 Vic clubs this season in the first 6 rounds.

As much as I would like to say we could be a top 4 team, I think we will be one of the 7-8 team fighting for the final 3 positions in the top 8.

Adelaide @ AAMI

This is a really tough couple of months for us (on the current form of us and the teams we will be playing) we will not start as favourite in many of these games IMO.

To get back on track for the final 8, we really need to be either 8-5 or 7-6 after these games and I sadly cannot see that happening. For this to happen we will need to win all 4 Skilled Stadium (or 3 at least) and the 2 Telstra Dome games as I can't see us winning either of the Adelaide trips.

Don't get me wrong, I am not writing us off but it will be an extremely difficult couple of months for the Geelong Football Club.

I can't see us winning any of those games. I now wouldn't be surprised to see us beaten by Richmond.
