It seems very feasible that if a player wanted to leave now mid-contract, Essendon could do nothing to stop him.

Not yet, but apparently Bellchambers has agreed to stay at Essendon. Not sure about Pears though.

I've heard strong mail that Essendon are really looking at Nicky Dal.

Next year we'll grab Riewoldt and Jack Steven!
