I took the liberty of excluding Miller and May off the list of players who are out of contract this year.
My list is:
1. J Grant Delisted (not to be picked up by another club)
2. J Harbrow Resign a 2 year deal
3. J Lonergan May look for opportunities elsewhere
4. M Hallahan Delisted (not to be picked up by another club)
5. T McKenzie May look for opportunities elsewhere
6. J Leslie Delisted (Rookie chance at another AFL club)
7. M Shaw Delisted (May get a lifeline at another AFL club either senior list or rookie)
8. B Matera May look for opportunities elsewhere
9 M Willis Delisted (not to be picked up by another club
10 . M Rischitelli Retire
11. J Schoenfeld Offered a 1 year contract (still unknown and worth the punt.

Unknowns

12. Currie Opportunities will tell the tale
13 Ablett Who knows!
14 Hall A smokey to leave with 1 year on contract to go but a win/win for player/club.
15 Nichols If he falls behind Witts will he/club look to trade?

Obviously this is a lot of "ifs", but heck this after all BF!!!!!!!!!!!

Would be shattered if we lost Hall. Favourite player to watch when he's up and going.

Jack Martin has re-signed a 2yr extension. Seems to have slipped out to the media from yesterday. A couple of outlets now running the story.

I fully believe May has also re-signed and the club is/was trying to stagger the announcements for maximum impact.

What a huge off-season we have had. Absolutely massive

Could be dragging it out for tommorows family day.

If this is all true, great news for the club!

I reckon it's a done deal........

Gold Coast sign Jack Martin until end of 2019 after unveiling plush new headquarters

GOLD Coast chairman Tony Cochrane declared the Suns were now an AFL destination club at the unveiling of their new $22 million headquarters, and promptly proved it by locking away star utility Jack Martin.

It is understood Martin, just turned 22 and third in last year’s club championship, on Thursday signed a new deal that ties him to the club until the end of 2019, capping off a momentous day for the Suns in which new ruckman Jarrod Witts described their facilities as superior to former club Collingwood’s famed headquarters in the heart of Melbourne.

OP updated. May the only notable name yet to re-sign.

A massive congrats to the club for its player retention of our young stars this year and late last year, it speaks volumes of the players confidence in the culture and club that they are not shopping around or stalling which most of them do, its quite frankly amazing not one of the stars who have resigned have stalled or postponed talks but gone to paper quickly - its VERY, VERY important to the future of the club and what it says to the younger guys about building a team that stays together - can't be more excited about what this club has done since the jungle drums were beating about our demise when Jaeger and Prestia wanted to leave

And Scheer becomes the first of the draftees to sign an extension, until 2019. Kinda came out of nowhere but none the less good on him. Always good to see our draftees sign-on early.

A shame we didn't get to see him in the JLT's but apparently he had pneumonia as well? Also looking to get a spot in the forward line with the queue for midfield spots at an all time high.

Interesting the AFl has an article up today about the millionaires club which details GAJ, Swallows Salaries:

GAJ: 1,000,000+
Swallow: 700-800k

Damo saying we are about to announce the re-signing on 4 year deals for our 4 draftees in Ainsworth , Bowes , Scrim and Brodie.

4 year deals for all of them?! That would keep them all here until 2022! That would be a huge vote of confidence to the way we have turned things around.

But like the others have said, anything that comes out of Damo's mouth I have trouble believing, even if it is something that doesn't bag us and our ability to retain players.

He said to the end of 2020.

Wait didn't these guy all already re-sign? I must be getting confused with some of the many, many other re-signings we've had over the summer.

Seriously awesome stuff. Loved this part:

“The four of us have a close bond and we are rapt to make this statement together. We simply don’t want to be anywhere else. The Gold Coast is home.
