I thought that said Eccles for a second :o (I was just skimming it afterall :p)

well ill get back to ya. Havn't decided. Leaning in a few directions, atm it may be Davis, but that could easily change in the short term future

Porps was my favourite for a while there, but he had a really disappointing year which took the shine off him a bit.

Of course I adore Sloaney, and he's my sentimental favourite, but from a purely entertainment point of view I enjoy watching Dangerfield more than anyone else. He stuffs some things up but every time he's around the ball you feel like he's a chance to make something incredible happen :thumbsu:

Probably Mick Doughty. He's not the flashiest player in the team, but he's one of those who has made the absolute most of his relatively limited talents.

Give me someone who I can depend upon and who I know will give me 100% every time without fail. I'd rather that than someone who does the flashy stuff, but can't be depended upon when the going gets tough.

Doughty was once one of my most despised Crows players, but every year I gain more and more appreciation for the job he does. He would be a pain to play on as he's so defensive. How often do you think the opposition are going to mark and doughty makes it to the contest just in time to punch the ball away?

I also love his reliability.. He is currently on a streak of 69 consecutive games, meaning that he played every game in 2008, 2009 and 2010. That ranks him 11th of all current (as of 2010) players, though Kirk (ranked #1 with 200 consecutive games) is retiring.

That said, Ben Rutten isn't that far behind - he's 14th on the list with 62 consecutive games (last miss was R7 2008). Tippett is our next best current player with 48 consecutive games, stretching back to R22 2008.

Can anyone recall an Adelaide player who has achieved a longer streak of consecutive games played?

They do get Tippett out there on one leg though. Couple games this year, there was no way he should have been playing.

Tyson Edwards had 76 consecutive games between 2006 and 2009.

Developing man-love for most our kids, I'm having trouble deciding what number to put on next guernsey. May have to leave it blank yet.

It's always a hard question for me.

Dangerfield. He's the player I pay my money to see and scream "RODNEY!" at the top of my lungs 20 times a game.

Rutten. Should be captain and his value to the team is higher than anyone else on the list.

Otten. Comes across as a top class individual and the perfect modern day footballer.

McKernan. Player I go in to bat for the most on BF and probably rate him higher than most would. On balance, I probably went to more Souths games this year than Norwood because of him. Have been following him very carefully for years now.

Knighta. :D Then probably Tex and Dangerfield, though Sloane's fast taking over the Dangerman unfortunately. ):

It was McLeod:(, but I'm really starting to develop man-crushes on our kids. Sloane, Tex, Danger, Tippett, Davis, Jaensch and Martin make up for a lot to look forward to next year and in the future.

hendo and the stiff one...

sounds like an adult movie title

G.Johncock little legs and his big barrel chest. Takes the game on and always chooses the right option. Fabulous to watch at full flight, not to mention the amount of times he has saved the crowd.

Neil, shouldn't you be concentrating on the draft camp?
