Not a Fair indication of best players, note players missing
Patmore
Powell
Richards
Edwards
Clayton
Myers
Hardman
Bell
Boake
None of the guys would be guaranteed to get drafted imo. Powell, Patmore and Richards the most likely.

Some good players for Metro and Country missing aswell.

Spargo only played 1 game and missed the metro win
Scott and Blakey were underagers
Man, don't make me go and look up the team. I know Tarryn Thomas was under age as well. Not sure about the other Tassie kid. Sambono from the NT is what 20? Not everyone deserves a spot. There might be other injuries we're not aware of.

Calm down its not the whole team I know that, my point really is these Victorians get massive exposure with school footy and TAC cup. It would have been nice to see more players from interstate going to the combine in this match. Most of the northern state players played NEAFL all year hardly played u18s apart from nationals then played out of position to support their academy.

Pick the kids who deserve it and who the scouts want to see.

I'd like to see the U17 team. Bet it's got quite a few S.A, W.A, NSW kids in it.

Hey D_P_S who would you rather draft, Paddy Dow or Sam Walsh. Forget that Walsh is draft eligible until next year. You're drafting on potential as to has who you believe will have the better long term career.

Very close, it does depend on what type of player you rate more. Dow is much better on the inside where Walsh is better on the outside. Both are guns it's too hard for me to pick TBH haha

haha oh please. Half of those guys will be lucky to get drafted.

It's the "best 50 players" - of which, none of those are - they're all late-rookie-undrafted chances.

If no one else wants Jack Edwards from Adelaide, then we'll have him at Hawthorn.

Not sure what everyone else is seeing, but he's one of the smoothest moving, well balanced prospects from this crop for mine.
The fact Jackson along with younger brother Luke was seen in the inner sanctum post match last night chatting to Sam Jacobs, Lleyton and Cruze Hewitt would seem to me to indicate he'll definitely be at the Crows next year. Brother Luke is considered even better at the same age.:)

Yeah....That's pretty well the only reason I can see for him not being nominated for the draft camp proper.....That every other club is resigned to the fact that he'll be a Crow, no matter what.

The manner & way he is able to get ball to boot without breaking stride, is a thing of beauty to watch.

I've seen a lot of Jordan Johnston over the last two years, IMO he's the best prospect at the GWV Rebels this year. I see he hasn't .even made your board. His aerial ability for a medium forward is exceptional, goal sense in spades, good pace, excellent set shot with good penetration. Moved into the midfield rotations the last few weeks of the season and didn't lookout of place in there getting in and under and showing good aggression. If he goes undrafted I will be massively surprised.

JJ will get drafted. He did enough on the inside to get the nod. Will need to continue to work though as his kicking out of a stoppage tended to be a bit rushed, but more importantly, as a forward first, he's a kick dominant player so working on his hands in close would be an important step. He's win ball, kick ball.

One of my favourite players when he's on as a forward. Just needs to put it together more often. His six goals against Eastern earlier in the year was ultra impressive. Just dominated the airways.

Hey D_P_S

We've had an unsubstantiated rumour on the Port boards that we're keen on Jackson Ross, and in keeping with the silly season - I'm running with it for all its worth.

I've not found much on him other than that he is an outstanding athletic prospect with a tennis background (covers the ground very well - which Hinkley will love), and is a 192cm stringbean, goalkicking wingman/HFF, something we desperately need.

What I'm curious about:
- is he an athlete first, footballer second? We don't tend to do too well with those types. We need footballers.
- how is his kicking, both in general play and for goal? We need someone who can spot up the odd target, other than Polec :)

Cheers.

He is a good mixture of both, he looks most natural as a forward and I see him playing that 3rd forward role.

He has a knack around goals and he is a decent set shot. His standouts qualities are his movement and agility for his size and his clean hands at ground level and overhead. Watched him in the wet for Haileybury earlier in the year and he was incredibly clean and nimble on his feet able to get around even the quicker midfielder types.

His kicking can be hit and miss, he is a long kick and his action is fine so just needs to iron out his decisions by boot

His contested game remains to be seen but I like him in the 2nd round of the draft, a lot of upside

Dow, Brander, O'Brien, Daniels...hardly turned out for them but will all get picked up IMO. Henderson will be drafted. Schumacher and Davis have slipped off the radar and may struggle

Can't see Daniels getting drafted; just too small & you need to be exceptional at that height.....Farrell has a better chance at being rookied for mine, along with Bailey Henderson, whose a chance to go late.

This 2018 draft isn't just for good key talls there is also some very good midfielders available. Some good mids today have been
Connor Rozee
Tom Lewis
Bailey Smith
Luke Valente
Ed McHenry
Jye Caldwell
Mitch Riordan
Curtis Taylor
